Paul Atreides

The story of Paul Atreides in the galaxy far, far away begins not with a whisper, but with a revelation.

"In the time of greatest strife, when the galaxy stands on the brink of darkness, two will rise from the will of the Force. Born of no father, their paths destined to intertwine, they will be the harbingers of change. One shall bring balance to the Force, the other shall guide the galaxy to peace. Together, they will face the shadows within and the chaos without, forging a new dawn for all."

This prophecy, inscribed in the ancient texts of the Jedi, foretold the arrival of two children born of the Force. One, the Chosen One, destined to balance the Force. The other, the Prophet, destined to guide the galaxy to peace.

Jessica Atreides, a Nightsister of Dathomir, experienced a miraculous conception through the will of the Force. She carried within her one of the two children who were destined to lead the galaxy to peace.

She bore the weight of prophecy, giving birth to Paul. And as he grew, it became evident that Paul was exceptionally talented in the Force, particularly in seeing visions of the future. Allowing her to come to the conclusion that he was the one who would soon be called the Prophet.

Jessica knew that as his powers matured, he would be able to perceive everything—the past, the future—unlike any other in history. Acknowledging that his journey would be full of hardships, she began teaching him combat-related arts and how to harness his powers from the age of three.

At the age of six, Paul had a vision that his path was leading him to the Jedi Temple. Understanding the importance of his journey, Jessica did not hesitate to abandon the Nightsisters and take Paul to the Jedi, hiding her own identity.

And as fate would have it, on the day they arrived at the Temple, Anakin Skywalker, the one they called the Chosen One, arrived as well. This convergence was no coincidence; Paul had used his powers to ensure their simultaneous arrival, solidifying their roles as the prophecy's children to the Jedi.

The Jedi Council sensed the extraordinary potential within both Anakin and Paul. While Anakin's raw power and potential to bring balance to the Force were clear, Paul's prescient abilities and his destined role as a guiding light for the galaxy were equally significant.

They decided to monitor and train both boys closely, aware that their intertwined destinies could shape the future of the galaxy.

Within six months at the Temple, Paul became a Padawan, the fastest and youngest to achieve such a status at the tender age of six. His prescient abilities and the intensive training from his mother had prepared him for a path unlike any other.

Under the guidance of his mother, Paul traveled across various planets, using his foresight to assist those in need. He told people how to prolong their lives, find their true loves, and navigate their destinies.

As his powers grew, he began to see a different path for himself. The weight of his destiny became apparent, and he grew more distant. His ascension within the Jedi Order was nothing short of a prodigy.

Within a year of becoming a Padawan, Paul was promoted to Jedi Knight at the age of seven. His peers and masters were astounded by his rapid progression, a feat previously thought impossible.

When considering his abilities allowed him to see the past of his ancestors, granting him experiences and wisdom beyond any mortal, the outcome was expected. Not to mention his combat skills, ingrained into his muscles by his mother, were undeniable.

He continued to take on missions, displaying a depth of knowledge and strategic prowess that led to his promotion to Jedi Master just two years later. His prominence began to outshine that of Anakin, the Chosen One.

The galaxy's hopes rested on Paul, whom they believed to be the Messiah, the one who could save them all.

At the age of twelve, he was granted a seat on the Jedi Council. This decision continued to stun many within the Order. The gazes of admiration and praise had turned into worship.

Throughout these years, Paul was seen as the epitome of what a Jedi should be—wise, powerful, and selfless.

But that would soon change...

...

..

In the vast expanse of space, a small Consular-class cruiser sped through hyperspace.

Inside one of its dimly lit rooms, a man floated mid-air in a lotus position, meditating with closed eyes. A calm yet powerful aura surrounded him, slowly swirling around his still form.

This was Paul Atreides.

A few moments passed until the door to his room slid open. A lady in a golden robe, adorned with an intricate matching veil, entered and calmly stood in front of him.

The aura around Paul seemed to react subtly to her presence. Eventually, his eyes opened, revealing striking blue irises that held a glint of mystery and profound depth.

"Yes, mother?" He inquired, his voice steady and serene.

"You've disabled our communications on the ship for the past several days. If possible, I would like to know why that is?" Jessica questioned, her tone calm yet firm.

Paul remained silent, slowly tilting his head as if looking at something only he could see.

After a moment, he finally responded, "There was something required to happen, something neither of us should've been present for."

She furrowed her brows at his cryptic words, "What exactly is that?" She asked.

Paul shook his head, "We've arrived," He said, sensing the ship enter the atmosphere of Coruscant.

His figure abruptly dropped as he landed on his feet with graceful precision. Giving his mother a small smile, he gestured for her to follow, "Come mother, it's time."

As the ship shuddered while docking at the Jedi Temple, Paul led the way.

Stepping outside, the bright sun revealed his outfit—an intricate black uniform, complemented by a flowing cloak and a sheathed blade on his hip.

His presence exuded authority and confidence.

Surprisingly, the hangar was much emptier than usual.

Paul showed little reaction, maintaining his steady pace toward the entrance of the Temple. Jessica herself glanced around, curiosity flickering in her eyes, but she followed him without question.

They eventually found themselves outside the Jedi Council room, and upon entering, they saw only three Jedi present.

Paul noted Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu standing and speaking to each other, while Yoda sat nearby.

As soon as he took a step inside, all three Masters locked their gazes onto him. Windu and Obi-Wan frowned, their expressions stern and questioning, while Yoda maintained a tranquil, contemplative demeanor.

Windu approached him, his presence emitting an intense aura, "Where have you been?" He asked with a sharp tone.

Paul met his gaze calmly, his bright blue eyes unflinching, "Master Windu," he began, "Me and my mother were on a mission on mediating peace between two rival gangs, it took us much more time than anticipated."

Windu's frown deepened. "And why did you not answer your communicator?" He pressed.

Paul was undisturbed by his attitude as he answered, "Our ship was damaged during the mission. The communications were destroyed, and at one point, our personal com-links were also stolen. We tried to return as quickly as possible, but it was quite the chaotic mission."

Windu sighed, rubbing his temples in frustration. Obi-Wan stepped forward, his curiosity piqued. "Do you know what has happened while you were gone?"

Paul nodded slightly. "I have an inkling," He replied.

Obi-Wan elaborated, explaining how the battle of Geonosis had just taken place. He described the immense battle that had unfolded, the creation of an army of clone troopers, and their engagement with Count Dooku and the Separatists. "Unfortunately, while we prevailed, over 212 Jedi died, and over 5,000 clones perished."

Jessica's eyes widened at the news, but she quickly masked her reaction with an indifferent exterior, matching Paul's composed expression.

Windu stepped forward once again, his voice tinged with frustration. "This is why we called upon you many times to seek your knowledge before we engaged them at Geonosis. If you were present, this tragedy could have been avoided—"

His voice was cut off as Yoda raised a hand, indicating for his silence. "Foolish that is... His fault it is not. Failed our comrades, we have. Our own fault, it is."

Obi-Wan added. "Master Yoda is right. This tragedy is not the fault of any one individual. The future is always in motion, and sometimes, even with foresight, we cannot prevent every outcome."

Windu sighed again, though this time with a semblance of acceptance. "We must learn from this and move forward. The Clone Wars have begun, and we need every resource, every insight to navigate the times ahead."

But Obi-Wan then looked toward Paul skeptically, "I have to ask, how come you did not foresee this before you went on your mission?"

Paul promptly answered, "Unfortunately it seems a powerful individual has been using the dark side to shroud certain futures in mystery, hiding them from my eyes."

This caused the three Jedi to grimace at the news.

"A new Sith Lord, emerged, they have. Seems Dooku, lie, he did not." Yoda remarked, referring to Dooku's warning that the Senate was under the control of the dark side. Initially, they found it unbelievable, but now it seemed they were wrong.

Paul gave a small nod. "I am prepared to face whatever comes, Masters. The issue with the new emerging Sith Lord, will be dealt by me."

With that, he simply bid his farewells, and exited the room. He and his mother strode through the hallways in silence.

His mind wandered to the past. He wasn't simply Paul Atreides; he had a past life on a planet called Earth, where his current galaxy was known as Star Wars, a film for entertainment.

Despite that seeming ridiculous, he was reborn in a universe where someone could see the future, and others can use abilities like telekinesis, so something like reincarnation wasn't much of a surprise.

Fortunately, he recalled most of his memories, so even without his powers, he could remember future events.

Exhaling a cool breath, he knew this was just the beginning.
