Chương 1: (1) Chapter 1: A Rich Life Came to an End

A purple-haired girl inquired in a suspicious tone as she glared at the boy straight in the eyes, as if she could tell whether he was lying. "Wait, you—a human—want to become friends with curses?"

The red-haired boy repeated his intention with an innocent face, his hopeful eyes trying to melt the skepticism in the girl's heart. "Yeah! You guys are so strong and cool, I want to, umm, become friends."

"I… don't… mind," another curse, taller than the purple-haired girl, spoke in a shy manner.

"Don't trust him yet," the purple-haired girl warned. "We've only just met him. We will put your faith to the test, and then we'll decide."

"Oh, what will the test be? Some sort of capability test, or an aptitude test, or something completely different? I'm fine with anything. After all… I can do anything," the boy replied confidently. Then he remembered something important. "Can we share our names now?"

"Yes, we can," the blue-haired curse responded with enthusiasm, as if she had known the boy for years.

"That's fine," agreed the purple-haired girl, sensing no immediate danger.

"My name is Med, and she is Tia," Med introduced, and the blue-haired girl nodded in approval.

"I'm Suoh," the boy said, bringing his hand forward for a firm handshake, which confused the other two.

Flashback

"Mom, I'll be extending my stay in Europe for another month. It's so different here," Suoh stated over the phone.

"But you've already been there for so long," his mother replied, her voice filled with concern yet defeated as she knows how stubborn he truly is.

"Come on, Mom, it's only been a week." The boy insisted hard well awarded a out his mother nature.

"Fine, just be safe and stay close to the guards. I've heard it's not safe in the area you're in." No wanting to ruin her son mood she agreed but warned.

"I promise I'll be cautious." Before sleep he replied.

Later that night, Suoh lay in his plush bed, the soft sheets and pillows a comforting reminder of the wealth that surrounded him. The room was dark, illuminated only by the faint glow of city lights seeping through the heavy curtains. At 14, Suoh had grown accustomed to the luxury, the silent presence of guards stationed outside his room ensuring his safety. Tonight felt no different—or so he thought.

As he drifted deeper into sleep, the soft creak of the door went unnoticed. The guards, usually vigilant, moved with uncharacteristic quietness, their expressions blank and eyes cold. Unbeknownst to Suoh, they were no longer acting as protectors but as captors, following orders that had been whispered to them in the shadows.

With practiced efficiency, one of the guards carefully lifted Suoh from his bed, his body limp and unaware. Another guard pressed a cloth to his face, ensuring he remained unconscious. They worked in silence, their movements eerily synchronized, as they carried him out of his room, down the grand staircase, and out into the night.

A black van waited in the driveway, its engine quietly purring. The guards loaded Suoh into the back, securing him with restraints before shutting the doors. The van pulled away from the mansion, blending into the night as it sped through the empty streets of Europe.

As the guards carried Suoh's unconscious body towards the van, the night was eerily silent, save for their hushed footsteps. The two leading the operation exchanged glances, the tension between them palpable.

"Are you sure about this?" one of the guards whispered, his voice trembling slightly as he glanced around nervously. His name was Tanaka, a seasoned guard who had never questioned his orders until now.

"We've got our orders, Tanaka," the other guard replied, his tone cold and confident. This was Saito, a man known for his ruthless efficiency. "Just follow through, and we'll be done with this."

"But… kidnapping the kid?" Tanaka continued, his eyes flicking to Suoh's peaceful face. "He's just a boy. And what about the boss? If he finds out—"

"He won't," Saito interrupted sharply, his gaze hardening. "This comes from higher up. The boss doesn't need to know, and it's better if he doesn't. We're just doing what's necessary."

Tanaka hesitated, the weight of the situation pressing down on him. "But why? Why him? He's just a kid, living his life. What could they want with him?"

Saito shot him a dark look, his patience wearing thin. "You don't need to know why, Tanaka. Just do your job, and don't ask questions. They said to bring him to the warehouse, and that's exactly what we're going to do. Besides," he added, a smirk creeping onto his face, "if we get this done, we're set for life. No more guarding rich kids in fancy houses."

Tanaka swallowed hard, his unease growing. "And if something goes wrong? What if he wakes up before we get there? What if someone sees us?"

"Nothing's going to go wrong," Saito reassured him, though there was an edge to his voice. "He's out cold, and we've covered our tracks. No one will see us, and even if they do, they won't live to tell about it."

The van reached the warehouse, and the guards unloaded Suoh, carrying him towards the decrepit building. As they entered, Tanaka glanced around the dark, foreboding space, his unease turning to dread.

"Let's just drop him off and get out of here," Tanaka muttered, eager to be done with the unsettling task.

Saito nodded, but as they laid Suoh on the cold floor, he couldn't resist adding, "Remember, Tanaka. No questions. We've done our part, and now it's out of our hands."

As they turned to leave, Tanaka cast one last, worried look at Suoh's motionless form. "I hope we didn't just sign our death warrants," he murmured under his breath. The guards stepped out into the night, leaving Suoh alone in the haunted warehouse, where unknown horrors awaited his awakening.

First person

Feeling a slight headache woke me up, getting my consciousness back. I found myself tied in a completely dark place. "Mmm MMMM!!!!" As my heart pumped hard I looked around and attempted to shout however my mouth was covered up.

I even tried to move but they were restrained. 'I need to think!' I reminded myself. My rationality and logic prevailed in the end as I started to think who might have done this, how much time I was sleeping and how I free myself.

As I could do nothing I waited, cooling my mind and body. Minutes turn to hours soon and I finally hear a voice of multiple people, my hopes were up but it all faded away as I saw a group of men around 9-10 in numbers.

And one thing was common in them they all were.

Gangster's.

.

.

..

..

In the dimly lit warehouse, the air was thick with tension. The gangsters surrounded Suoh, their laughter a chilling echo in the empty space.

"So this brat is the son of some big-shot camera company in Japan?" one of the thugs remarked, his tone casual, as if kidnapping was just another day at the office.

"How much ransom can we squeeze out of this one?" another thug mused, chuckling darkly at the thought of easy money.

"Who knows? A few billion, maybe millions if we don't get too greedy," another replied, his eyes narrowing as he assessed their young captive.

They turned their attention to Suoh, expecting to see fear in his eyes. But instead, they were met with an unnerving calmness that made them pause. Suoh sat there, bound and gagged, yet strangely serene. It was as if he was the one holding the cards, not them.

"Boss, can we have a little fun with him before we—"

"NO!" The boss's voice thundered through the warehouse, cutting off the thug mid-sentence. In a flash of fury, he struck the underling hard, sending him reeling backward.

The tension crackled in the air as one thug stepped forward, his eyes glinting with malice. "Wanna say something to your mommy, boy? I heard she's got quite the body on her, F-cup and all." He sneered as he roughly yanked the tape off Suoh's mouth, causing him to wince in pain.

Suoh's eyes flared with defiance. "You all will pay, in kind," he said, his voice steady, the words dripping with cold certainty. The gangsters exchanged uneasy glances, a flicker of doubt crossing their minds. For a moment, it felt as though they were the ones trapped with him, not the other way around.

One of the thugs, bristling with anger, pulled out a gleaming golden Desert Eagle and pressed it against Suoh's forehead. "Say it again, brat!" he snarled, his finger itching on the trigger.

Suoh's body trembled as the cold metal touched his skin, the threat of death suddenly very real. Despite knowing they needed him alive for the ransom, the fear surged through him, and a desperate plea escaped his lips. "Help..."

*Bam

Before the thug could me a noise was heard of something crashing or dropping. "What was that!" Their attention was diverted from.

Getting cautious and ready to fight they all pull out their guns. "Who's there, show yourself."
