Chương 132: RIGHT TIME

I let a few days pass to recuperate myself from the emotional turmoil that had gotten the best of me. Although I wasn't still in my best emotional shape, my mind was somewhat in tune with what I need to do, and that is to be by my girlfriend's side knowing how emotionally battered she is right now. 

As soon as my eyes opened the next day, my body acted automatically and groomed myself just the way I always do. Afterward, I got busy making calls to get the latest updates regarding Gabriel's disappearance while on my way to Maria's apartment. I immediately alighted my car the minute it stopped and headed inside without any reservations. 

My heart promptly leaped and skipped a beat the moment I gazed at her. I never thought of how much I missed her after days without any communications until I beheld her once again. A warm and longing smile flashed on my face as I swiftly caged her in my arms. 

"I missed you, my queen."
