Robin storms out of the restaurant, her heart pounding with indignation. The evening air is cool, but the fury boiling inside her feels like a furnace. "That arrogant bastard!" she spits, her voice low as she marches toward her car.
She can still hear his stupid smile and his stupid questions.
Clutching her purse tightly in one hand, she fumbles for the door handle with the other, her fingers shaking with anger.
"Why did he call me here in the first place?" she mutters under her breath, her eyes narrowing at the memory of his condescending smirk.
Finally managing to open the car, she slides into the back seat and slams the door shut.
The sound echoes in the silence, a fitting punctuation to her outrage. She quickly rummages through her bag for her phone.
"Where the hell is it?" she curses, panic starting to creep in. Ramsey has her EpiPen, and she needs to call him immediately.
