(One month later)
It had been one month since Marissa went to Sangua City to see her mom. She was connected to the kids through video calls.
Right now, Nina was sitting on the carpet, surrounded by her grandkids. She was telling them about their father's childhood and the kids were listening to her with interest.
Nina enjoyed their company a lot. Their giggles used to brighten up her day.
"Did Daddy, climb that tree all by himself?" Ariel asked her with wide eyes.
Nina nodded and ruffed her hair, "Oh, yes. And guess what? He got stuck and didn't come down. Until our butler rescued him."
More giggles erupted and Abigail shook Nina's arm, "Granny. Tell us more about Daddy."
Before Nina could answer, the soft creak of the living room door interrupted their moment. Nina turned her head, narrowing her eyes slightly, and froze as she saw Marissa pushing a wheelchair through the doorway.
