Ever since she saw Valerie's name flashing on his phone screen, she didn't stay in that office. The food was still left on her plate, but she got out of the room without a backward glance.
Though she did hear him telling her that he was busy in a meeting. But that didn't bring peace to her mind.
If he cared about her, not as his mistaken wife but as the mother of his kids then he should have been upfront and told that damn sister of hers that he was busy with his kids' mom.
"Marissa. Mr. Sinclair wants to talk to you," Marissa was typing something vigorously on her laptop and didn't even bother to raise her eyes to look at Dean's face.
"We have already discussed vital things during our lunch. Now if I keep visiting his office, I won't be able to do my tasks. Please ask him to let me work or I'll resign."
The threat had the desired effect on Dean and on the President of MSin. After that, nobody dared to call her or disturb her.
