Cold fingers touched her neck, but they didn't hurt or even choke her. Instead, they simply hovered there, as if they wanted to simply be near her. Venus again. Moon was still for a minute, and then, she said,
"Where's Aqua?"
"I'm sure my spirit won't hurt her," Venus whispered, right in her ear. Moon tried not to be flustered and wiped her lips with the back of her sleeve.
"That was naive." Venus continued. His breath was hot on her ear.
"I won't let you hurt her." Moon snapped back, all her hesitation suddenly dissolving. No way this red-haired idiot was going to kill her host planet. Without Terra, she'd be… She didn't even want to consider it.
"Even with what you just heard?" Venus frowned.
"Well, whose moon would I be, if not for hers?" Moon asked, turning her neck briefly to look at Venus.
Then soft lips touched her neck.
"Mine, of course. I've kept the spot open for you and you only, all these years."
She didn't even deny the butterflies in her stomach at this point. But.. she couldn't throw Terra away, just like that, even if she wanted to, not to mention all the other planets would die as well.
"Are you alright with that?" Moon asked. She briefly shut her eyes, a bit scared of the answer.
"Well, of course. I'd do everything. You wouldn't have to lift a finger." Moon could feel his words drifting along her body.
"But… why?" Moon asked, distinctly confused. Why all this for her? This was crazy.
For a minute his lips left her neck.
"Because I love you."
