I blushed and playfully pushed him away. "You're so cheesy."
He chuckled and pulled me into a tight hug. "I can't help it. Being with you makes me cheesy."
We were interrupted by a knock on the door. Zairon opened it, and Nanay Mercide peeked in and smiled at me. "Good morning, Madam. Good morning, Sir. You seem to be in a good mood."
My cheeks turned even redder when Zairon looked at me and smiled. "You noticed it, Nay?"
"Of course. You two were gloomy yesterday. Something must have happened." I felt even more embarrassed as I remembered what we did last night.
