Chương 41: Chapter 41- Last Quest!
I looked down at ryuen, as I finally caught him down.
I kept punching his face.
"Hahahaha!"
"You mentioned you never felt fear, didn't you Ryuuen?"
"Haa...haa...kuku, that's right. I don't understand fear. I've never once felt it."
Despite having half his field of vision blocked by the swelling and bruising, Ryuuen fought back from underneath me.
But his strength is now impaired and soon enough, he's begun swinging and missing. In response, I rained down a powerful yet precise blow from above.
His expression turned grim.
"Zuu, puu...! I'm confident in my fighting skills but it's not like I've never lost before. No, I know best precisely because I've lost many times over before....."
He seems to be having difficulty speaking. Maybe the inside of his mouth's been cut up? He's spitting blood out of his mouth down to the ground.
I swung my fist down again.
"Gah!....ahh, shit, it's becoming difficult to talk again."
I repeatedly rained down blows left and right at short intervals. But even then, Ryuuen didn't really feel fear.
"Violence reflects your true self. Both the one doing the beating and the one being beaten."
Ryuuen closed his eyes and laughed.
Provoking me to hit him as many times as I want.
"Hah, hah....kuku....it must be fun for you, Ayanokouji. You can act as cocky as you want with that sort of strength. You can do whatever the hell you want. That's why show me, Ayanokouji...."
He opened his eyes.
And I then started raining down punches while aiming for his face.

"Even if you win here, I will keep coming after you no matter how many times it takes. No matter where you are at school, as soon as you show an opening I'll attack. And I'll have the last laugh."
He said with a smile as I kept raining down the punches, ryuen he is a good piece to use, it would be useless if he dropped out after this fight.
"Enjoy this temporary pleasure. Go on, victory is within your reach. Ayanokouji!"
But ryuen, victory was already within my reach.
I then started raining down powerful blows on his faces, as he started stopping smiling.
I landed my fist on ryuens fist that I had lost count of it, but I won't stop.
Right, I kept swinging my fist with even more force as ryuen's face contorted.
"Argh…. Ugh…." Ryuen looked at me as my eyes turned cold.
"Yeah, that's it ryuen. Now you see it too, no?" I asked before I pummeled him with a more powerful blow, reaping his consciousness.
Looking at ryuen who had lost his consciousness, I stood and my way towards Karuizawa.
"Sorry, I ended up putting you in a tough spot. Are you hurt anywhere?"
"I'm fine…. Just a bit numb from the cold though."
I extended my hand to Karuizawa, who witnessed it all from where she sat.
When I touched her hand, it was so cold it seemed as though it had frozen over.
"Disillusioned of me?"
"Obviously…you betrayed me from the start."
"That's right. Then why didn't you sell me out to Ryuuen?"
"....for my own sake. That's all."
She said that before collapsing into my chest, trembling.
"I was scared....I was so scared...!"
"There's no need to think about anything right now. What happened today, what's happened so far. You can think about it all later. The only certain thing is that as of this moment, you've been freed from your curse. From this point onwards, Manabe....no, no one else will be able to dredge up your past. As for the rest, you can act as you always have."
No longer possessing the strength to hold herself up, Karuizawa entrusts her body to me.
Kageyama POV
Seeing ayanokoji coming from the steps with Karuizawa on his side, I started making my way up.
"I'll see you sensei, Manabu-senpai." I said not waiting for their reply as I passed by ayanokoji I whispered.
"Better come fast, I don't want to drag it out any longer." I whispered and walked to the rooftop where ryuen and his gang laid down unconscious.
After awhile ayanokoji came back.
"Give me a minute." He said as I nodded, he slapped the four of them as they woke up, surprised to see me they sweated.
"Oi, if you're going expel someone then it's me the three of them had nothing to do with it." Ryuen said looking at me as I sighed.
"Don't worry I'm not here to expel anyone, so don't dilly dally and leave the rooftop." I said as the four stood up and started to walk out with ryuen deciding to drop out.
"Hah~ you think I'll listen to you ayanokoji?" Ryuen asked as Ayanokoji shrugged.
"I just it would be a waste for someone like you to drop out." He said not replying back ryuen and his gang left.
Immediately I threw a roundhouse kick at Ayanokoji who dodged it.
"It seems you're in heat."
"No shit I am." I said grinning before leaping towards him and punching him at the stomach as he tried to block, I went pass through his hands hitting his stomach.
"Argh!" For the first time I heard ayanokoji groaning in a fight, before he could feel comfortable, I kicked him in the face sending him flying back to the wall.
Using renewal taekwondo and Niko style would be overkill so I'll just fight in instinct.
Panting, ayanokoji leaped towards me using emperor eye, I predicted his attack as I dodged it beforehand.
"Didn't think you would predict that." He said as he threw another punch, I dodged and kicked him at the chin while he landed a hit on my face but twisted my body and sent a sharp kick at his body as he gasped for air.
"Hahahaha! This is fun you know Ayanokoji?" I said as he looked at me.
"Are you a battle maniac?" He asked as I grinned.
"Dunno." I said before kicking him on the neck as he kneeled down and I spun around hitting him with the heel of my leg on his face as he laid down on the floor, I got on top of him as I rained down punches.
"Ya feeling Deja vu?" I asked as I rained down punches while tried to get up but he couldn't.
"How do you feel? Now that you're at the brink of losing after a long time?" I asked him as there wasn't a response.
"Tch, already unconscious?" I muttered before dealing a final blow, ending it.

"A-ah!?" I let out a gasp, you gotta be kidding me right!? Damn! Ain't I so OP then?
I sat down on the floor until ayanokoji woke up.
"Yo how'd you feel?" I asked him as he stayed on the ground, staring at the ceiling.
"I don't know….."
"Does it feel good losing? I mean that was what you were after weren't you?" I asked again as he stayed quiet before responding.
"I don't know….. it's a feeling of void, I don't feel anything but at the same time I feel peaceful." He said to me as I smiled.
"Hehe, well if you feel that way at least then that's good." I said to him as I pulled him up.
"Well I'll be going, thanks for the fight." I said to him.
"Kageyama." He called out as I looked back.
"Hm?"
"Thank you." He said even though he didn't notice it there it was, a small smile plastered on his face.
"Thank you for your help." He said again as I nodded.
"Yeah, no problem." Ah~ I should sleep, it'll be a big fuse tomorrow.
