Chương 5: CHAPTER 5

AT DAWN...

The Caccoon tribesmen awoke to an ominous day.

As the icy morning air clung to their skin, a chilling touch that crept deep into their bones. While some found the situation amusing, others were filled with anticipation, yet most were simply indifferent, facing challenges of their own.

Soon...

The sun began to rise, casting a sinister blood-red glow over the camp, staining the frozen ground with an unsettling shade.

Hastily the tribe made their way toward the arena.

The arena resembled a butcher's slaughterhouse, its frozen ground still reeking of the blood that spilled in previous battles.

Soon enough, a heavy silence settled over the gathering as they prepared to witness a gruesome spectacle. But it didn't take long before the quiet was broken by the murmurs of the curious crowd as two unlikable men prepared to enter the arena, knowing that only one would leave.

"Damn it! Why did that fat pig decide on a duel at dawn?"

"He doesn't care about our sleep. I hope both of them die."

"Yeah... but that guy didn't even hesitate to accept the fight."

"He must not have known what he was getting into; if he did, he would have stayed a slave! Haha!"

Some questioned Steve's impulsive decision, while others found his boldness both reckless and intriguing. While the men spoke critically, the women, already smitten by Steve's appearance, held different thoughts about him..

"Damn it, if anyone deserves to die, it's that bastard, not Steve."

"Who knows? He's a strong warrior, though we haven't seen him fight yet."

"But the one he's up against is..."

"Don't worry, I've already told my father about our marriage. I won't let this guy die without giving me a few children."

The love-sick maiden's determination to protect Steve at all costs aroused jealousy among the men, who wished for the slave's death. Despite their envy, they did not support his opponent either.

In the midst of all this, one man remained unfazed; he was shackled from head to toe in heavy chains.

His name was Gendu.

The notorious criminal and warrior of the Cacoon tribe, was spoken of in fearful whispers for his heinous deeds. His appearance mirrored his malevolence, with a face ravaged by scars and eyes that showed no trace of mercy, he looked terrifying.

He had committed unspeakable atrocities that surpassed the tribe's darkest nightmares, defiling the sorceress's only adopted daughter in her presence, inflicting torment upon the woman and leaving the girl irreparably damaged. But that was not the extent of his depravity.

As a seasoned pedophile, he was granted young girls below ten as a reward each time he furthered the tribe's agenda. His position as the tribe's top dog was the sole reason he was spared from death. Another factor that kept him breathing was his unmatched proficiency in hunting and killing, which sustained the tribe through his malevolence.

Obviously, no one liked him.

Most of the tribesmen wanted him dead, but the tribal chief had a different plan. Even so, he couldn't ignore the growing distrust in people's hearts. To avoid a civil war, the chief needed to satisfy the people's appetite for violence while also protecting his own interests.

The chief set a unique condition: Gendu would serve the tribe and participate in every death battle the chief ordered. This arrangement placated the tribesmen, who believed someone would eventually end his life in battle. It also allowed Gendu to continue serving the tribe as the chief's right-hand man.

Consequently, he was drawn into many battles, resulting in over 80 deaths, with the count still climbing.

As he approached the crowd, they recoiled in horror, the rattling of his chains resounded through the cold air. His lips twisted into a creepy grin as he reveled in the crowd's discomfort.

"Today, I'll kill another rat... ," he sneered, his eyes locked at the eight-namedays-old wildling girl, licking his lips.

"Hahhahhahahaha"

He laughed menacingly.

MEANWHILE...

At the corner of the arena, Steve, the young lad with striking black hair and dark eyes, heard the tribesmen's comments, both their tantrums and their praise. He tuned them out, focusing instead on the matter at hand. His expression was dull and complicated.

Steve was in a dilemma.

Today his day had started off poorly. He woke up earlier than dawn, and at that time his thoughts were centered on the upcoming fight that would determine his future. He was full of energy, as young men often are in the morning, but then he noticed the blood.

His pants were open, his cock was erect, hard as a rock yet cold and bloodied at the same time, presenting a shocking sight. It was like a milky ice cream dipped in chocolate before being frozen. And because of that, he was terrified, thinking it must have been cut off by a primitive bastard.

He felt a certain numbness take hold of him, his mind grappling with the implications. Thankfully, he quickly rubbed his cock to remove the ice and blood. It was then he realized his bloodline was still safe. Without wasting any time, he hastily dressed himself..

Only now did Steve remember that he had drunk milk directly from the nipples of the married woman. Embarrassingly, he had even called her mother last night. This realization led him to think that the woman must have taken advantage of him.

But how could she be so unhygienic, especially while on her period?

Why have sex with him without asking permission? Does she have a rapist mentality?

He thought, thinking she should have waited for it if she wanted the repayment for helping him. As a kind man, he would have paid through his body. Besides, lending his dick to her wouldn't be a problem as he wasn't committed in marriage.

'Damn it, all the women here are like wolves. I can't trust them; the way they look at me is terrifying. I need to get the hell out of here...'

'No, take things slowly. First, let's win the fight and then learn more about this world. That would be the right course of action.'

Thus, considering that she had helped him get rehydrated, he chose to let it go. After all, her milk tasted better than the uncooked fish he had eaten the previous day, and this was a favor a warrior as kind as Steve wouldn't be able to forget easily.

Jara, standing near him, noticed the troubled expression on Steve's face, recognizing his internal struggle with the realization that the upcoming fight was a deathmatch rather than a sparring session he thought it would be.

She knew he needed to steel his resolve and focus on the danger, though for some reason, she had absolute confidence in him.

"Steve, I would remind you not to show any mercy. He has killed far too many people and don't forget he is a rapist."

"Still, taking someone's life is a bit..."

"Sigh...you are a kind man, Steve, but just because you don't want to kill him doesn't mean he won't."

"Maybe you're right..."

"Absolutely...so end it swiftly and precisely. He is a monster, don't give him any chance."

"But he looks quite weak to be called one. Anyway, I'll heed your advice..."

What Jara didn't know was that Steve never saw his opponent as a real threat. His thoughts circled back to the woman from the night before. As for the fight, he had his own ruthless plan to end it swiftly. Despite his lost memories, something inside him was screaming to show no mercy. It felt as though he had lost something precious in the past due to being too soft-hearted..

AFTER A WHILE...

Soon, attention shifted to a certain tribesman as he announced the arrival of tribal chief Dorra Kargol and his wife, Cadra Kargol. The chief and his wife made their way to the arena, Cadra leaning on her husband's arm for support, her expression strained.

As they walked, Dorra became curious about Cadra's limp form. He was deeply concerned as she had refused to seek any witch doctor to treat her injuries.

"Where the hell did you fall? It's so bad that you can't walk properly. You should have rested, my moon," he asked, his brow furrowed in frustration albeit lovingly.

Cadra forced a weak smile, concealing the throbbing pain she was feeling.

"Don't worry, honey. I'll recover in a few days," she replied, trying to reassure him.

Alright, just be careful, my dear. You know how much I care for you," Dorra said.

Cadra gave a half-hearted nod, not fully taking his words to heart.

Inside, her mind raced, knowing she couldn't tell him the truth: that she had taken another man's cock inside her, betraying her marriage vows.

The pain she felt with every step was a constant, bitter reminder of the previous night's encounter with Steve. Her vaginal walls ached, bearing the evidence of his size and intensity. There was also guilt as she remembered how easily she had given in to the heat of the moment, that too for a young boy.

Though she tried to suppress the memory, the image of Steve's monstrous majestic dragon and the electrifying touch of his hands lingered in her mind. It had been thrilling, but now she couldn't escape the crushing sense of betrayal.

She feared the consequences if Dorra discovered her infidelity; she dreaded the wrath he might unleash upon her. But then she thought that as long as her husband doesn't know, it would be alright.

Soon...

Upon reaching the arena, the chief and his wife took their seats beneath an ancient, frozen tree. The sight was chilling as the leafless branches held thousands of skulls of fallen warriors who had died in duels, hanging like fruits. The ground around the tree was strewn with various weapons from past battles. This tree in their tribe was known as the Tree of the Dead.

Tribal chief Dorra was in a good mood today. Previously, he had faced pressure from the sorceress for months about getting rid of Gendu, and the upcoming duel would finally ease her concerns. No matter the outcome, Dorra remained unconcerned.

If Gendu won, nothing would change, but even if he lost, Dorra would lose nothing; rather, he would gain a stronger dog than Gendu to serve him. Amusingly, he turned towards Steve and asked,

"You sure you don't need any other weapon? Shield is typically for defense, lad."

"No thanks, My shield is more than enough,"

Steve replied, clutching his shield tightly. He felt an innate connection to the shield, as though it was the perfect weapon for him in this world. But soon his eyes couldn't help but cast a quick glance at the chief's voluptuous wife, the woman to whom he was indebted.

Once everything was settled, Dorra stood up and declared,

"Commence the duel!"

The arena fell silent, the crowd holding its breath, eagerly waiting for the fight to begin. As the fight was about to begin, the participants were called into the arena. Steve, clad in wildling clothing, entered first. His determined gaze scanned the circular stone pit, taking in the hard surface with its jagged rocks hidden beneath the snow.

On the other side, Gendu entered the arena with confidence, making direct eye contact with the chief. His unsettling appearance, marked by a face full of scars and wild, bloodshot eyes, conveyed an absence of mercy. He assessed Steve, who seemed like a boy newly turned into a man, and was confident of his victory. If he won, he would request some younger girls from the tribal chief.

An elderly man with worn features stepped forward and laid out the rules for the participants.

"Do not dare to leave the arena until one of you falls dead at the other's hand. Only the victor may leave alive. If you dares to flee, you will be sacrificed to the old gods, now start"

___

"Come on, Steve, show us what you got!"

"Let's see some blood!"

"kill each other you bastards!"

"Die you fucking slave"

The crowd erupted in cheers and tantrums.

___

Gendu's laughter resonated through the arena as he taunted Steve.

"I'll dismember you piece by piece, you worthless dog!" he sneered.  "I'll make your death the most painful you've ever known. And when you're gone, I'll rape your corpse! I'll put my dick inside your—"

Swiss!!

Splurt!!

Gendu's words were cut short when Steve moved with blinding speed, taking the crowd by surprise. He launched it at Gendu with exceptional accuracy.

The crowd watched in stunned silence as the shield flew through the air, slicing through Gendu's neck with a clean, swift motion. Gendu's head fell from his body, hitting the ground with a sickening thud, blood spraying across the snow-covered surface.

BOOOM!!!

Soon, his body fell on the frozen land.

What remained was a pin drop absolute silence that reigned over every single soul present in the arena. The wildling struggled to process what they had just witnessed.

It was only at this moment that they became aware of Steve's shield lodged in the tree directly above the spot where the tribal chief and Cadra were sitting. The shield's rounded edge was stained with blood, which continued to trickle down, drop by drop, onto the chief's head.

The fight had ended in an instant, leaving the chief shaken, wondering if he could have dodged the shield had it been aimed at him.

Jara was the first to break the silence.

"STEVE... WOAH..YOU DID IT!" .

She jumped up with joy, causing her massive boobs to bounce with happiness.

Her eyes sparkled as she ran toward the arena to check on Steve for any injuries.

"I TOLD YOU SO!" Steve shouted.

The crowd erupted with cheers, Steve's fan girls and those wronged by Gendu shouting his name in unison.

'STEVE! STEVE!--- x20

A few minutes have passed.

"SILENCE ALL OF YOU"

Then a commanding voice echoed through the settlement. It was the tribal chief, who quickly stood up and yanked the bloodied shield from the tree. He wiped the blood from his face with a piece of fur, then locked eyes with Steve and threw the shield back to him, and proclaimed,

"I, Dorra Kargol, with the authority of the 457th head of the cocoon tribe, declare that from this day onwards, Steve Rogers is one of us. His pain is our pain, his victories are our victories, his struggle is our struggle. From this moment, he is part of our family, our kin."

I'm aiming for a harem of five members, and one has already been decided, so please suggest the remaining four.

Another thing...

Given our timeline is set in 236 AC, far earlier than the start of the main plot, I'm unsure what direction to take. Should I create original characters and houses, or stick with my initial ideas?

Let me know your thoughts! ]
