Separated by a fence, Moses stood beside the car, conversing with an underling who had come to meet him.
A short distance behind him was a three-story villa, where two guards stood at the entrance.
Moses sat in the back seat, with no intention of getting out of the car, "Where is the person?"
"Upstairs," the underling replied, bending beside him, "That guy has a fever, and if he doesn't get surgery soon, I'm afraid it's going to be bad. Should we get a doctor here?"
"There's no need for that," Moses squinted his eyes as he glanced at the villa beside him, "Keep a good eye on him."
With that command, he leaned back lazily against the seatback, the driver rolled up the window, turned the car around, and drove out of the estate.
As she watched his car leave the estate, Gan Yuan pulled out a hair tie to bind her long hair, then carefully emerged from the woods to the back of the villa, nimbly climbed up to the third floor, and arrived at the balcony draped with sheer curtains.
