Navigating this predicament with the strategic prowess of a startled squirrel isn't exactly how I envisioned my grand adventure. The idea of approaching problems with a complete route sounds like wisdom from a textbook on highbrow strategy. Yet here I am, armed with sarcasm and survival instincts instead of genius-level intellect.
Let's dive into the abyss of worst-case scenarios: flunk these tasks, and I'm stuck here indefinitely. No return ticket to mundanity for yours truly. But hey, maybe being Kevin's sidekick has its silver linings. Saving the world, one mishap at a time? Not the worst way to spend eternity.
Now, onto the puzzle of Emmeline's betrayal. Can't have her wreaking havoc with that winsome smile of hers.
And Christiana? Left her at the doc's. Hopefully, she's not causing a ruckus on her way back. Once she's safely home, maybe I can coax some info out of her.
Basic survival needs call for shelter, sustenance, and a touch of luck. Renting an inn? With my piggy bank balance? Ha! DIY architecture it is. Wish me luck—I'll need it.
Food-wise, yesterday's stew was a surprise hit. Looks like I've found my new culinary standby. As for those mushrooms? Found a bunch, but I'm not playing Russian roulette with my digestive system.
Fishing, on the other hand? Let's just say, dagger proficiency isn't just for show. Who knew my skills would come in handy for snagging dinner?
Training's a must, too. Can't be a proper adventurer without leveling up, right? Fire elemental, dagger mastery—the whole enchilada.
And let's not forget about that guild card. Luck's on my side—I stumbled upon a stash of mana crystals. Time to cash in and snag that card.
Off to the Arcane's store I trot, dreaming of vegetable stew and a shiny new pickaxe. Here's to day three of surviving in another world.
Cheers!

Meanwhile, in a large empty classroom, in the Royal Academy, a solitary figure was staring at the windows. Her golden hair fluttered with the wind while she had a mysterious expression. She was Emmeline Neville.
"It seems like preparations have started on both sides."
"Yes, milady." Her personal maid Alice Taylor spoke while bowing her head.
"What about Christiana? Has she returned?"
"Lady Christiana has been reported to be at Ms. Cecille's (Academy's doctor) place. It seems like she was injured while investigating yesterday."
"What?! I told them not to attack students! And still!"
"Milady, Ms. Cecille has also added that the injury is not severe. She is just taking a little rest after exhaustion."
"Ok, that's good. I have afternoon classes to attend. So, if she returns to the academy inform me immediately. And warn them not to do such things anymore, or else they will have to face consequences."
"Understood. Then I will take my leave."
"For crying out loud. Why does everyone resort to violence so quickly!"
'I will have to ensure everyone's safety and successfully obtain that artefact. I can't afford to fail anymore.'
With that thought she returns to her class, and the story moves in an unexpected direction.

The Royal Academy's doctor, an unnamed character in the novel, was indeed insignificant to the main story. She was mentioned a few times after the end of a scenario to treat the injured ones. So, I don't really know what type of person she is. However there is one thing I must mention here. Every human I have seen so far in this world is freaking gorgeous in appearance!
That's why, despite being a middle aged woman, the person standing in front of me claiming to be that doctor not only has a beautiful face but also an attractive body.
"That's quite rude, you know. I am in the same position as the professors at the academy. Yet you didn't recognize me?"
"Forgive me, I am quite forgetful of faces."
That's right. When I was returning from the capital to the forest, I was ambushed by this lady. From what she mentioned before about Christiana departing for the academy, she really is that apothecary from yesterday. However, why is she telling me that? I thought my face was not visible due to dim light when I visited her. Observing her tone and body language, she is quite confident about this fact. Then why is she here?
"For your information, I was not the one who attacked Christiana. You may confirm this fact with her."
Well, Christiana must have seen the face of that suspicious individual.
"Yeah, I know that." She replied.
Huh? That's not it?
"Then what's your reason for visiting me like this?"
"Why are you rushing me? I am here to a small talk with my student."
"At this time, I am under suspension though."
"What about your attire then? Why are you wearing the academy uniform, despite being suspended?"
"This is the only thing I have to wear. Besides, there isn't any rule prohibiting this."
"Ok Ok, I get it. How about we walk while talking?"
"No, I would prefer if you could state your business here and now."
I don't want her to find about the mana crystals after all.
"So, how is your survival game going on? Quite comfortable, isn't it?"
"This isn't a game. And comfortable? Why would you even bother asking that?"
"Come on~ I am just enquiring a little for my little trouble maker."
What the hell is the deal with her? Talking with me like she is familiar with me?
Perhaps looking at me not answering anything, she started thinking about something.
"Hmm? Haven't you encountered the mana crystals emitting healing mana particles yet?"
Huh?
"Those are my crops, you know. I was performing some experiments and left them to grow for some days."
Eh?
"And the fact that you brought a pickaxe with you to take away my own crops without my permission, indicates that you don't have money, do you?"
What?
"I won't stop you though. In fact I can help you to get out of your situation, only on a condition."
What the hell?
"Be my apprentice."
Why the heck is this story not going according to the novel?!
