"Shin'en no Shoumei"
Uchiha Sogetsu felt a strange sensation. He looked down at the back of his hand to see a lavender mark. The girl standing across from him smirked, her eyes filled with malice.
"Your body, mind, chakra, memory, and perception," she said with a cruel grin. "I'll strip them from you bit by bit. You'll feel the worst pain imaginable, just like you did to me."
Seconds passed, and Sogetsu didn't seem fazed at all. The girl's confident expression began to falter.
"You can't control me, can you?" Sogetsu asked calmly, standing under the eerie glow of the blood moon.
The girl frowned, her voice tinged with frustration. "Why? How can you resist? The Shin'en no Shoumei's mark is clearly there!"
Sogetsu pushed his glasses up his nose and replied with a slight smile, "It's simple. I wanted you to use your ability on me."
The girl's eyes widened with surprise. "You... induced me?"
Suddenly, the girl seemed to realize something, and her expression changed. She said, "Are you manipulating my emotions?"
It was only then, as she took a moment to calm down, that she recalled everything that had happened earlier. It dawned on her that something wasn't right.
Her rage had clouded her reason and judgment.
"That's right," Uchiha Sogetsu replied with a slight smirk, lightly adjusting his glasses with a finger. "I've been messing with your mind from the start."
"See, my day job is a psychiatrist, not like your typical ninjas with their brute strength," he continued. "So I have to rely on psychological tricks."
Sogetsu had been plotting from the very beginning.
He constantly used words and psychological cues to agitate the girl's emotions, fueling her anger and distorting her judgment.
When her remaining logic was entirely consumed by rage, he capitalized on it, guiding her using Spectator Pathway's abilities, manipulating her with words, gestures, eye contact, and other psychological techniques to trap her in a cascade of suggestions.
Every action, every decision, even her thoughts, were under the sway of these psychological suggestions.
This was the way a Beyonder of Spectator Pathway fights.
"This is how I fight," Sogetsu said, a hint of pride in his voice. "I use your emotions against you. Welcome to the battle of the mind."
"The battle is over," Uchiha Sogetsu repeated. "Release Tsunade from your control, and maybe we can talk."
"Dream on!"
The girl stomped on the ground, dashing toward him. "It's just one Mangekyo ability! It's just a Shin'en no Shoumei ability! Don't forget you're still in my Tsukuyomi space! It's not clear who'll win!"
"Heh," Uchiha Sogetsu sighed as he watched the girl charge at him. "Didn't I just tell you? The battle is over."
He slowly reached into his clothes and pulled out a charm.
With a quiet sizzle, the charm ignited.
Suddenly, an otherworldly sound, utterly vile and dissonant, assaulted the girl's ears.
The cacophony was horrid, piercing with an intensity that could shatter stone.
"What is this?!" the girl cried, clutching her head, her delicate face straining with pain as veins bulged on her forehead.
The sound grew louder, an infernal scream, a whirlwind of insane howls and roars that felt like a thousand scorching steel needles stabbing deep into her mind, thrashing and twisting with violent force.
"Is this what you meant?"
Uchiha Sogetsu held up the burning charm and chuckled. "I call it 'Language of Foulness.' You could think of it as the voice of a madman."
Language of Foulness can make enemies hear horrific screams and can even drive them to madness.
Produced by true masters of rap, guaranteeing top quality.
The girl was in severe agony, with blood and tears streaming from her eyes. Her veins and blood vessels protruded across her body, like writhing snakes, as if they were about to burst through her skin. She screamed, her cries filled with evil and pain, beyond the limits of human endurance.
Crack!
The entire Tsukuyomi space shattered like a broken mirror, splintering into countless cracks.
In an instant, the mirror fragmented completely.
Uchiha Sogetsu looked at the tortured girl, now barely recognizable as human. He put away his cruel words and asked, "Can you calm down and talk to me?"
"You know... always... always being in the darkness. How do you think that makes me feel?"
The unnamed Uchiha girl shot him a look of intense hatred, her delicate face twisted by anger and resentment. Her scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan glowed with malice as she snapped, "Don't look at me with those sympathetic eyes! You don't understand me at all!"
Uchiha Sogetsu remained silent, his pupils swirling with hypnotic spirals.
Hypnosis!
The girl's eyes grew hazy at first, then her thoughts turned increasingly muddled.
Uchiha Sogetsu penetrated directly into her consciousness, diving deep into the island of consciousness.
Memories belonging to the girl flooded into his mind.
She had no parents, no friends.
No one to rely on, no one to depend on. She lived like an object, mechanically following orders from those around her.
"You were born solely to ensure the clan's prosperity!"
"Nanashi (Nameless), prepare yourself to destroy our enemies! Face death without hesitation!"
"You don't need emotions!"
"Never forget, Nanashi, you are just one of our weapons. Survive the battlefield as long as you can!"
"You have no family. You exist to serve the Uchiha clan. Understood?"
The voices of those who commanded her echoed in her mind.
Cold Sharingan eyes, devoid of emotion, issued orders, directing her to one bloody, ruthless battlefield after another.
However, even the emotions they forcibly erased became tools for the Uchiha's victory.
Yet her ultimate fate was still to be discarded by the Uchiha clan, sealed in the darkness of the underground.
Alone and filled with bitter resentment, she was sealed in endless darkness.
No sound, no light, only the haunting silence of the void. The despair was like bone-eating maggots, slowly consuming her sanity.
Bit by bit, it drew her deeper into the abyss of despair.
Why?
Why could those ninjas who tormented her live without a care?
Why?
Why should she bear all the pain and hatred alone?
Why?
Why was there no one willing to help her?
It was as if everyone inherently despised, hated, or feared her.
Ultimately, in the vast darkness, her spirit was tormented over and over. In the abyss of hatred and anger, the nameless Uchiha girl became almost ghost-like.
Revenge was the only thing that kept her going.
To destroy all the ninjas who had caused her pain and suffering, even if it meant destroying the entire ninja world.
"Ha..."
Uchiha Sogetsu rubbed his forehead, feeling a weight bearing down on him.
Just like the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, once remarked:
"Uchiha are born with an inherent madness, and they also possess the deepest 'love.'"
But this intense love carried with it the risk of losing control. Once an Uchiha loses that strong "love," it gets replaced by an even stronger "hate," often leading them down a path of extremism.
"I've lost."
The girl's eyes were empty as she spoke, devoid of any anger: "Now, you can seal me away or kill me."
Only when she mentioned death did a flicker of life return to her vacant eyes. Perhaps she wanted him to end it all for her.
"Nameless Uchiha, do you believe our meeting has a deeper meaning?"
Uchiha Sogetsu removed his glasses, his calm gaze like a still pond, with gentle ripples reflecting his inner thoughts.
Those deep eyes seemed to carry some kind of mystical power, soothing the girl's shattered heart.
For a brief moment, the nameless Uchiha girl seemed to feel something shift within her.
"I believe the encounters between people are guided by fate."
Uchiha Sogetsu slowly walked up to her, extending his hand to lift her delicate face.
His voice was soft yet magnetic, as if laced with enchantment: "Just like how you and I met. If there's a reason, it must be the guidance of fate."
