Chương 1: Chapter One: Dying
A portly young man with scruffy brown hair was crushing out his cigarette. It was a Friday and work had finished just a few minutes ago. Saying, a quick goodbye to his colleagues he headed to his car. His Evening was wasted from having to do three hours of overtime. Tired and Annoyed he decided to go for a long drive down the backroads to relax.
The young mans name was Edwin. Edwin loved his car. Always pushing the rust bucket to its limits. His friends considered it a miracle that it still ran. But he knew how to keep it running and when to backoff. Clambering into the drivers seat he shoved the keys into the ignition and it roared to life. He drove off with no regard for speed limits or his own safety through the city. After thirty minutes he had finally made it out of the city and was on the almost abandoned country roads.
The car would barely do 120mph on a good day and today seemed to be one. Flying down the winding roads barely staying on them. Edwin laughed until he could barely breath. The thrill from the speed and turns made him giddy. The bushes and trees raced by him and he couldn't be happier. He began to slow down as the next corner was a sharp one. It had been a site of many fatal crashes already and he wasn't going to join them. Shifting down to third whilst feathering the clutch to assist the brakes in slowing down the car. Finally having reached a speed he could take the corner with, he released the pedals. That's when it happened. Just Infront of him was a feral looking women in a black dress. He panicked slammed down on the brakes and swerved. The car had spun out and had become one with the trees.
Edwin tried to shout but only a weak "help" escaped his lips. A low branch had pierced the wind screen and impaled him. The feral women charged at the car and ripped the door off. "thank you" Edwin managed to whisper but soon after the women bit into his neck. He could feel his blood being drained. Unable to scream he accepted his pathetic death. To crash his beloved car and be attacked by some crazy women. Soon the pain stopped and turned to pleasure. He was euphoric and believed he had finally died. The world had gone pitch black and all he could do was wonder if there was an afterlife.
