Chương 8: Darkness

After Miami informed us, we went to see mother.

When we reached my mother 's room, my father was already there pacing back and forth, he told us that the doctors are already inside and Silver was also there to support mother.

After long 5 hours, the door of the room opened and doctor's came outside.

"Congratulations Lord Duke, you have a very healthy boy", the female doctor who usually treated my mother said to father.

"Thank you, Sylphy here is your reward"Father was extremely happy to hear good news, so he gave a pouch of gold coins to doctor.

"Thank you Lord Duke for your generosity, Lady Duchess is feeling weakness due to blood loss, so let her rest for a day, and if anything happens then you can call me", Doctor was happy with the reward and then she left with her co workers.

After her departure we went inside and heard baby caries.

Aunt Silver was sitting beside my mother's bed while my mother was half lying on the bed, holding baby in her hand.

"Darling, how are you? And how is our baby" Father asked mother while walking towards the bed.

"Dear, I am okay and our baby is also healthy " Mother said while caressing the crying baby.

"Congratulations mother, now I will become a good older brother".

"Oho, my big baby is so mature, I am very lucky"She would not stop her teasing any time.

"Congratulations, Aunt Celina"Silvy greated mother.

"Congratulations, Lady Duchess for a healthy boy"Veronica also congratulated mother.

"Thank you, Silvy and Veronica".

Father took the crying baby in his hands, my brother had red eyes just like father, baby started crying more as father took him, so he reluctantly gave baby back to mother.

"Now, now you all go outside, Celina have to rest and feed the baby"Silver said to us, well we understood that, mother needs to feed the baby and she also had to rest after that, so we all went outside.

"Okay, kids you play with each other, I have to go to prepare for naming ceremony and after that a party" after this he left and we went back to garden to play.

After playing with Silvy till the afternoon, she went back to her house with her mother.

Soon this news spread in whole country like fire in wild, it had been only three days, now today was naming ceremony day, many Nobels came to congratulate they were happy cause, no Duke house had their legal heir who's hair were not black, yes they didn't word it but I knew they despised me for my black hair.

My mother also seemed distracted, may be she knew that the truth about me not being their child was going to come out soon. But she didn't knew that I had all information.

Soon the ceremony ended and my little brother was named as Richard.

After worshipping God Moloch everyone went back, my family started preparing for party, they didn't this party for me, not because they didn't love me but because they knew that most Nobels would not be happy and that will affect the part and me negatively.

The servants started talking about Richard being a heir, but they didn't treat me badly, in the original work, Greve after hearing them felt confused, cause he didn't knew at that time and asked her mother but she didn't tell him and diverted the talk.

Soon 2 days passed and it was the time for my brother's party.

My Nobels and Merchants came to this party in hope to curry favour with father's, they bring their child's with them.

While they were congratulated mother and father, nobody even looked towards me, well now I knew, how original Greve would have felt being left out, in his own brother's party.

Veronica was behind me, and looked towards the Nobel's, she felt something was off, cause she heard from maids that Richard would become the heir, despite Greve being older, and now no Nobel was approaching Greve, but as a maid she stayed silent and followed me.

But I felt bored, so I took a walk, when I was walking towards garden, I heard a scream.

"You, let go off her," it was Silvy's voice, I thought the event was going to start, The first event towards 'Darkness' but I couldn't left Silvy so I went to complete this event.

When I reached the hallway, I saw three boys wearing Nobel attire, cornered a girl and Silvy was scolding them to leave that girl alone.

I approached them, those boys were 10-12 yrs old and that girl was 5 yrs old, you asked how do I knew her exact age,

cause she was the first heroine of this novel, Malina Rimare, she was the daughter of 7th Baron and the weakest Nobel,

but she herself was too pretty and her talent was S ranked, because of which the stronger Nobels child always bullied her, seeing her cowering in the corner.

*Sigh*

I sighed just because of better talent her life became tragic, and in original work Greve was not darkened yet, so he saved her, and she was also the only girl after silvy's death, who supported him.

But due to Greve completely being darkened and enemy of empire, she went with MC.

I didn't waited much and grabbed the oldest boy and the leader by his shoulder and pushed him to the ground, due to regular training for 1 yr straight, I became little bit talli than the kids of age, so we are at the same height.

"Stop, bullying a little girl, are not you ashamed of yourself?" I asked him with cold voice, seriously a 12 yr old kid bullying a 5 yr old kid!.

"Ah... Greeve, I am glad you came here, they were bullying her" seeing me Silvy came and hugged me and complained.

I reassured her and looked towards Malina and asked " are you okay?".

"Umm.. yes D.uk.e Gr..eve, thanku for your assistance, you may not know me, my name is Malina Rimare, daughter of 7th baron house.

"Ahh.., you do you know who I am, I am Artemis Serakel, the future heir of House of Count" the kid was crying because of pain in his butt due to the fall.

"Sh..., Artemis look he has black hair, he is Duke" his followers whispered to him.

"Oho, so what he wasn't even a heir of Duke, he was just picked up" Artemis replied, every Nobel knew the truth about my existence, but he was the first one to voice out.

"What nonsense are you saying, did you hurt you head because of fall?" Silvy asked him while she felt confused.

Hearing Artemis Veronica already knew whole story, she felt bad for Greve, and looked with pity at him.

"Hahaa.. didn't you parents told you yet, that you were picked up from the streets, haha you are just dummy child for them, now the new heir is born, you loss your position " Artemis screamed while laughing out loud.

Hearing the commotion many adults were already there, and My mother and father also came there, hearing the commotion they looked at me with Guilty in their eyes.

I looked at them, seeing me looked at them she opened their mouth but before they could say something someone interfered.

*Sigh* well this truth have to come sonner or later" he was the count Jacaar Serakel.

Hearing him my parents glared at him, if looks could kill, then he might have had died thousand times.

My mother opened her mouth and said

"S..o.n, umm this..."

Before she completed her sentence I interjected, I didn't want her to feel guilty.

"I already know this mother for a long time, hehe didn't you said I am mature, so how can I don't know about this, I don't care about my existence mother, for me you both are my parents ".

Hearing me there were multiple expressions on their faces, shocked, guilty, relief, happy, sad.

"H..ow ..Did..yo..u get to know" my mother asked while fumbling.

"Hehe, that's a secret mother, but I am sad that you didn't tell me the truth, and I have to hear this from insect, I need compensation" I started teasing her while belittling Artemis.

Hearing me my parents felt relieved and started giggling, the atmosphere which once was tense, became too light.

'Fu*k the darkness, I am going to live my life happily ' I promised to myself and party went on, after the party, I saw off Malina and Silvy.
