Gu Yan's handsome face stiffened for a moment.
He looked at Su Yunjin again!

Su Yunjin just wanted to examine Gu Yan's wound, which wasn't even above the knee, yet Gu Yan kept on rolling up his trousers. If he pulled any more, she might catch sight of something she shouldn't.
The trousers of ancient times were made loose and baggy, unlike modern ones. Modern trousers probably wouldn't have been able to be pulled up beyond the knees that easily.
Coughing a few times, Su Yunjin quickly stopped Gu Yan, "Stop, that's enough, no need to keep pulling it up." Hearing Su Yunjin's words, Gu Yan harrumphed and stopped pulling up his trouser leg.
Su Yunjin was stunned!
Turns out, this man was being petulant with her all this while?
All because of that one thing she had just said?

Without paying any more attention to the man, Su Yunjin crouched down to examine Gu Yan's wound. Gu Yan's legs were clean, lacking the hairiness some men possess.
Gu Yan's calves were a healthy wheat color, muscles taut. Even with a lame leg, it didn't diminish the attractiveness of Gu Yan's legs.
Su Yunjin took an extra glance. The little wife was examining her own legs with a scrutinizing and assessing gaze.
Gu Yan did not notice the change in Su Yunjin's look. As a graduate from a professional medical college, Su Yunjin now focused solely on Gu Yan's wound.
All her attention was on the wound.
As she examined, she also used her hands to pinch, pinching a spot on Gu Yan's leg where the bone protruded, Su Yunjin used a little more force, and she heard Gu Yan's muffled groan above her head.
Looking up, Su Yunjin saw Gu Yan's handsome face twisted in pain.
"Cough cough cough!"
