The first week after the blackout incident had been surprisingly… normal. Almost too normal. Classes resumed as if nothing had happened, and the chaos that had defined that night seemed to dissipate into an eerie calm.

My days had become a blur of routine. Mornings were spent on my usual 5-kilometer walks, trying to clear my mind and prepare for the day ahead.

There was something soothing about the steady rhythm of my feet hitting the ground, the crisp morning air biting at my skin, and the silence before the day fully began. After that, there were classes, sparring sessions, and council meetings.

Lise and I spent most of our evenings together, either studying or just lazing around, soaking in the comfort of one another's company.
