As the Assembly rounded up, the Elders and the other members of the Council, who had gathered and called for Nyx's report, were left with solemn and worried expressions on their faces.

"Nikola really wants to get involved in this?" one of the noble members of the Council muttered his opinion on the current situation.

"It's quite shocking to be honest. After all these years, the Deputy Director wants in on the action. That says a lot about the Dark Guild, Tartarus. They must be the real deal," another noble added, complementing his colleague's input.

Lord Hansel swiftly brushed his hand over his dark brown hair before leaning to rest his arms on the table in front of the Elders.

"Are you sure about it, Nikola?" the Elder asked, trying to get the same answer out of Nyx's mouth again.

"Yes, Lord Hansel. If this Council will allow me, then this Dark Guild will be brought down before they have the chance to accomplish their goals."
