Chương 119: Another Building

Ethan stared at the spot where the four men had vanished, his fists clenched in frustration. The swirling vortex that had swallowed them up left behind a faint, lingering energy, mocking his inability to finish them off.

"Damn it," he muttered under his breath, feeling the anger simmering just below the surface.

These men had ambushed him, threatened him, and now they had escaped, leaving a promise of future trouble. Their parting words echoed in his mind: "Don't worry, we'll come back again later."

He took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm of emotions within. Anger wouldn't serve him now. He couldn't afford to be distracted by thoughts of revenge or worry about their return.

His focus needed to be on the task at hand—finding the Floor Guardian and ascending to the next level.

"Well, if they wanted to came back I will greet them warmly next time," he said to himself, the determination in his voice hardening. "I'll be ready for them."
