Chương 4: old stories come back.
[Some hours later at the dojo]
I was showing Miguel how to punch correctly on a dummy when Johnny got a call.
"uh, Yeah i'm his father, but you're supposed to call his mom." Johnny told the person on the other side of the phone.
I told Miguel to continue and approached Johnny to hear the phone call better.
"I already called her. She's not picking up." I heard a woman saying.
"Right, big surprise !" Me and Johnny said at the same time.
"What'd he do this time ?" Johnny asked.
"We found him with Molly." The woman said.
"oh shit, not again !" I sighed.
"What ? "Not again ?" Who's Molly ? Is that soem chick he's hooking up with ?" Johnny asked a bit lost.
"It's an illegal drug, Mr Lawrence." The woman said.
Then Johnny asked to put Robby on the phone.
"You're doing drugs ? And from what your brother just said, it's not the first time ? You wanna flush your life down the toilet ?" Johnny said with a bit of anger.
"Like you're one to talk. Don't try to play dad now. You're a pathetic loser !" Robby replied without caring before saying "Also why is Dylan with you ?"
I took the phone from Johnny.
"So, still with the whore ? Do you even know where she is ?" I asked.
Johnny said "Dylan !" But i shrugged it off and said "stay out of trouble and don't tell mom where i am, i don't want to see her !" Then i returned the phone to Johnny and got back to the dummy to see Miguel doing shit.
"What the fuck is he doing ?!" Me and Johnny said at the same time.
[Some hours later]
Miguel was washing the windows while i was helping Johnny with the paper to open the dojo.
"Hey, sensei, is there any particular way you want me to wash these widows ?" Miguel asked.
"No, i don't give a shit. Whatever's easiest. You know what ? Just go clean the toilet and we'll call it a night." Johnny replied.
Miguel complained but did it anyway "Ok."
"And do that while on your hands and knees !" Johnny smiled.
"Stop fucking with him." I looked at him and laughed.
"He gotta learn that life is shit anyway so what's the difference ?" Johnny chuckled.
As we laughed we heard the door of the dojo open so we went to see who it was.
"Welcome to Cobra Kai !" Johnny said before stopping right where he was.
"Some things never change." Daniel Larusso said.
"What's that supposed to mean, Larusso." Johnny asked.
Then Daniel looked at me and said "Is this what your father is teaching you ? To jump kids at a mini mart ?"
"Yeah well, they deserved it !" I replied.
"What do you mean ?" Daniel asked curious.
"They ganged up on someone else, pushed my father on me while i was eating and provoked me so i responded accordingly !" I replied laying against the wall with my arm crossed.
"Uh, look.....Just stay away from my daughter's friends." Daniel said.
"Your daughter's friends ? Nice company shee keeps." Johnny said sarcasticly.
"Maybe you don't know your daughter as well as you think you do ! Get your house in order before coming for mine, Larusso." Johnny said while walking to the middle of the mat.
Daniel seethed and said "What did you say ?!" as he stepped on the mat and stopped 3 feet away from Johnny.
Then Miguel walked out of the bathroom and said "I'm finished cleaning the toilets, Sensei."
"Sensei ? Really ?" Daniel said before looking at Johnny.
"Oh my god, kid, i don't know what he's told you, but you shouldn't beleive a word he say, or you're gonna end up exactly like him !" He said turning to Miguel before looking at me for a second and at Johnny "You and i...This...We aren't done." Before walking away.
"I'm right here, man." Johnny opened his arm and said.
Daniel scoffed then got out of the dojo.
"I'm sorry if i interrupted anything, Sensei. Should i do 20 push-ups on my knuckles ?" Miguel apologized
Johnny and i both chuckled then Johnny said "Yeah righ. Like you could."
[A few weeks later]
Me and Miguel are training in the dojo, Miguel is punching the dummy and to motivate him i said "I saw the fake Jackie Chan and Sam making out in school."
And it seemed to work as Miguel clenched his fist and punched the dummy with more determination.
"Hey, you two don't happen to have any friends who wanna learn karate ?" Johnny asked as he walked out of his office.
Hearing no response from me and Miguel, Johnny sighed and said "Aw, what am i saying ? You don't have friends, sorry"
"Hey, sensei, when are we gonna learn some kicking ? I saw on youtube a video of a guy breaking boards, and it looked badass." Miguel stopped punching the dummy and asked.
"Yeah, no shit. Kicking is badass, but if i don't get more students i won't be able to teach you anything !" Johnny explained.
"You've though about advertising ?" Miguel asked.
"Yeah, duh !" Johnny lied and got out.
I laughed before saying to Miguel "We can do a website it will gather more people than whatever idea he got !"
Miguel looked at me like some sort of genius.
"Anyway, we are gonna be late for school !" I said and we packed our things before going outside.
"Hey want a ride ?" I asked Miguel.
"Yeah, thanks it will be faster than taking the bus." Miguel responded.
I opened the door my car and saw Miguel at the front looking at it as if it was holy or something.
"Hey man get in !" I said before getting in my car and turned it on.
Miguel got in and asked "Is that your car ?"
I looked at him as if he was dumb and said "Why do you think i have the keys ?"
He proceeded to ask hundreds of question about the car on the way to school.
I replied to most of it before i asked him to stop annoying me.
[Instead of in two day i will annouce the result of the vote tomorrow with the next chapter.
"Good morning, Good day and Good night !"]
