"Alright, I'm convinced for now," he said, removing the plants from her neck.

"Ahhhh..." She exhaled heavily.

He grew plants again, restraining her arms and legs, making her sit on the ground.

"Did you think you were free? Just sit there until we're finished talking."

He then interrogated her, discovering that the 'Mind-Virus Workshop' was indeed in this district.

"Okay, now get up and guide me like a good girl," he said, releasing her arms.

"Ahem! Please follow me," she said after standing up.

She led him through the forsaken district to a dilapidated house at its far end, where the fortress cast a shadow over everything.

Entering the house, she moved to a corner and touched a plank of wood, applying mana to make it glow with a brown light.
