Chương 11: chapter 11
We filled out a few more forms then talked with someone then payed sone people, boom, bada, Bing, I had a company under my name. I already had Asami as an investor so that helped my chances. Me and keeran walked to the car and then ride back to Asami's mansion.
I asked him while we drove along "how much does Asami pay you and is it worth it" he replied thoughtfully "she pays me a salary of 24000 yuan a year, and it's not worth it, the job is rather undignifying"
Then I replied "I need a right hand man in my operation, the pay will be low at first but you will get a share of the company for free, the pay will eventually get astronomical" he thought for a moment then said "I will quit my job with Asami and join you" then I said "one last chance to change your mind, it might get a little illegal at times"
He thought for a little then smiled "I will still join you" we shook hands then arrived at Asami's mansion, I told him the game plan he works for Asami for the next week save up as much money as he can, he doesn't need to pay for his food or for rent and other things, I will then he quits and joins me.
It was 4 pm or so when I left, I still had a 10000 yuan to spare. I needed workers, right now lots of people weren't hiring non-benders because of the Equalists so I could take advantage of these desperate people.
I went to a lesser known newspaper in the city and paid them 3500 yuan to put the hiring ad in the paper and another 500 to make the hiring contracts. I of course made sure that the people would show up at times I would be at my factory . I went back to my factory and sat down in my little office in the back.
It was just a desk, a rusty cabinet left from the last people, and a shitty lamp the room also doubled as a break room. The ad would be put in tomorrow's paper so I had to wait. I left the office and gathered up the scrap metal and then turned it into ingots of high grade steel.
I stacked them in a box for them to be later smelted into gun parts, I made little signs on how to make the parts. Everything was in order for workers to start making guns and bullets I went I to the basement and started making gun powder.
I made a bullet to see how they would par together. I put the gunpowder in the bullet casing the put the bullet in, I loaded the bullet into a clip then into the top of my rifle.
I pulled the bolt back then pressed the trigger, the heap of scrap metal I aimed at flew around the room after a small explosion that busted and broke some of the metal. Imade exploding bullets that's not how that worked, I chalked it up to some reincarnation bullshit, I put my gun away for safety reasons.
I was half excepting my gun to blow up in my face, a stronger explosion doesn't mean that the bullet goes faster it can mean that but to much destroys the bullet and the casing.
I would only use my gunpowder for my personel bullets. It was 5 or something close but event tough it was early I went into my desk chair and took a nap.
I woke up and looked outside probably 12-2 am. I walked home and unlocked the door with my house key but I found Lin waiting for me she asked "it's 3 am what are you doing coming home so late you've got work tomorrow"
"I started a business and I was setting up my factory" I said calmly knowing I was in no trouble then she replied "I've did some research into the matter about the triads and turns out the same wounds were found on Amon there were two people who were at the scenes of both of those, you and Mako"
She continued "Mako is a fire bender and these are glass or ceramic wounds, something only an earth bender could do, you are the culprit of these incidents, using it against Amon was not police brutality but against the triads it is police brutality, meaning you are under arrest for police brutality."
Sometimes I forget that she's one of the best detectives on the planet. I just stared at her then she said "you can come peacefully or you can come hard" I still just stared but then her metal cables entangled me Mosaic cut the cables but I slowed them so lin didn't have any more face scars from her family cutting a cable and it whipping back and hitting lin, I'm looking at you Suyin.
The cuts were clean so she wrapped me in the cables again, this time I didn't cut the cables because it would still be a clean cut. God forbid my stand have razor sharp glass shards that it can throw at any place to protect me.
Lin arrested me then I was taken to the station where I used my one phone calk to call Asami "hello, who is this" And I responded "this is JoJo, I need your butler Keeran" "Ok, KEERAN GET IN HERE" Asami screamed then keeran picked up the phone.
I told him "from the times of 5 pm to 9 pm I need you at the factory to do interviews, I'm in prison right now so I can't, theres a key under the large piece of sheet metal in the backyard of the factory, tell any people you hire that they start on Monday and they work 5 days Monday through Friday, I need you to execute the plan early and take manage of the factory until I'm out of jail"
"Yes jojo, understood, Asami I QUIT" keeran responded then I hung up. I was taken back ti my cell then sat down there was some other criminals in the cell who looked at me odd.
It was a wooden cell so I couldn't bend and I assumed theses people were also earth benders. The next day I was brought before a judge to set my bail he decided on 6000 yuan. I told lin not to pay it, I told keeran where I keep my money in the factory but it wasn't enough so I just rotted in jail.
