Under the cover of darkness, he ventured out.

Daisy's passive night vision ability allowed Elijah to navigate the night as easily as day.

Moving swiftly through the darkness, Elijah made a detour to the kitchen before heading underground.

Finding the kitchen deserted, Elijah slipped in without difficulty.

 After a grim inspection, he emerged with a dark expression.

"Damn it, they're all monsters! No, worse than monsters—they're utterly depraved!"

His voice was cold, laced with teeth-gritting anger.
