Jacin looked down at Varrick, her expression unreadable. "It's over," she said softly, her voice carrying a weight of finality. Varrick groaned, barely conscious, his eyes filled with a mix of hatred and fear.
Jacin let go of Varrick, allowing him to slump to the ground, battered and broken. Nyx, who had been watching the scene unfold with growing intensity, stepped forward, his eyes blazing with anger. "We should end him now," he growled, his fists clenching. "He deserves no mercy."
Jacin shook her head, placing a calming hand on Nyx's shoulder. "No," she said firmly. "He might be useful in the future. There are things he knows, allies he has... Killing him now would be short-sighted."
