"Yeah, especially during the winter of senior year in high school, it was particularly cold. To keep warm, I would drink a small bottle cap of white liquor every night at 11 o'clock while reviewing. After drinking it, my whole body would feel warm and very comfortable," Qiu Ye said with a red face, perhaps because the memories of the good old days brought lots of spirit to her. Her bright, watery eyes made her look especially energetic.
"No wonder your academic performance was so good back then. I heard that you know several foreign languages and that you received scholarships every year in college. You were a true female scholar," someone said.
Qiu Ye's face got even redder, not expecting Qin Hai to know so much about her. She shyly said, "I'm actually just too dumb, so I must work harder than others. In comparison to President Lin, I am far too inadequate. Not only is President Lin smart, but also she works much harder than anyone else; no matter what, I can't compare to her."
