"I'm fine," I replied, asking him the same question he had asked me.
"I'm fine too."
"I'll get you both a room in the pack house. You can stay there until I get the situation sorted," Caden said and turned to me. "Like I told you earlier, Norah, the place is heavily guarded, so you won't be able to escape even if you tried."
Caden gave Evan and I separate rooms. He also gave me some clothes and showed me where the bathroom was so I could shower.
Caden's mate, Katherine, had introduced herself to me. She seemed nice, but I hardly talked to her. There was so much going on in my head. Every thing that Caden said created more and more questions.
He had told me he was trying to get me back where I belonged. The question I had asked after he told me that kept echoing in my head. Where would I belong?
