Chương 344: 344: I can go alone

"S-Such insult! Are you asking the princess to enter that unknown hall on her own? How dare you try to do that to the unsuspecting princess of ours. We will not allow that."

The maid quickly made her rebuttal to try and earn her position.

Sui was sure that her petite frame and big eyes made her look younger than she was. That was why all the maids treated her as a kid; they could manipulate her into doing what they wanted.

Even now, they were trying to say they were doing things for her sake when the maids wanted to enter the dining room.

But despite that threat, the Imperial guards kept their bearing and refused to back down in front of these maids.

"I am sorry, but this is what our Crown Prince ordered. Princess Sui, would you like to take any of your maids inside with you?"

The guard turned toward Sui to ask this question next. 

It was awkward for Sui to be addressed as a 'princess,' especially since it was said in such a formal tone.
