Chương 15: The Final Round

Back at the fight now Sora would opt for his plan B which he of course had from the beginning.. As he would proclaim himself instead of it being on the spot thinking. Seeing that Shiro had encapsulated her magic throughout her body in a way to make her power explode it seemed to be at least 10 times of what she was previously and growing. So if Sora could do something similar to that he would achieve the same thing. Sora would remember that saying something along with a sign could improve his ability, the sign part he learned in his last training. And so he would designate a sign towards this new way of using his power and that would be the ok symbol as that was the first thing he thought of. Now as for why Sora was not currently being beaten into oblivion is because Shiro is his friend and is quite curious at what Sora may be able to muster if she fully allows him to showcase his potential. Sora would now begin to speak whilst holding up an ok sign with his hands. "Consuming Darkness, Absolute Void, Nothingness Incarnate, Chaos King," With this chant of seemingly just things that Sora thought sounded cool finished and with this chant being completed a darkness with a purple tint would have erupted around Sora in a similar manner to the flames that would appear around Shiro. And so Sora would have gotten into a defensive stance, due to the fact that as soon as he had finished now Shiro would close the gap between the two. Shiro would have realized that Sora was likely around her level now so she would need to use more skillful tactics. Shiro would opt to do another straightforward attack, but instead of blocking it Sora would have evaded it spinning around the body of Shiro and elbowing her in the back causing her to stumble forward which was promptly finished off with him extending his leg forward slamming the tip of his foot into her back a stabbing sort of attack that made her stumble forward to the ground though she landed on her hands and looked at him with a pout. "That really hurt Sora!" Sora would then seem distraught as his face would slightly shake and he stuttered until he had an idea. "I'll- uhmm.. Give you candy after this?" "Okay!" Shiro said, but in the middle of him talking she had sprung off of her hands and right towards Shiro effectively drop kicking him in the face which he would halfheartedly block. Shiro landed on her hands once more and rolled to her feet. "Alright Sora come on then!" Although funnily enough he was already there, a seeming purple glow coming from his eyes for a moment as he executed such speeds utilizing some of his stored kinetic energy and kicked one of the legs of Shiro from below her and at the same time tossed her up into the air sending her spinning before leaping up after and doing a half backflip kicking her down in the chest. Sora's eyes then returned to normal, this was a shocking display of him using some of the kinetic energy in a different way than he usually did showing a sort of growth he attained further in battle. Shiro bounced right off the ground and to her feet again showing a sort of resilience as she would huff. Although she would have a smile. It could be seen that Sora now had the flames of Shiro burning all over his body as she spread them to him after being hit. This was slowly burning away his curse aura around his body which was stopping himself from being burnt. "Well played Shiro." "Hehe, thanks." Sora would then give a bit of a serious look towards Shiro. "Don't think I am done yet, I'll give you a finale to remember." Shiro would then gasp before looking intrigued and smirking. "I shall add to this display.. And crush it." The two would have then seemingly tossed balls of energy between them, one being of a purple darkness and the other a blazing flame with a red glow. The two energies combat each other and only are fed more and more by each user with a strong drive for victory despite the connection between each other, one of them had to win. As Sora tried to use a curse of reflection the curse placed by the energy was only burnt away by the flames causing an infinite stalemate. The longer it went on the more each of them grew in power, Sora's increasing faster, but Shiro's already starting at a higher spot. That's when suddenly it happens again, an electrical flash is formed between the two orbs going both ways back towards each of them as it begins to grow out of control far bigger than the last times it has happened creating that same phenomenon with the same energy. The overflowing and rising flash of energy would explode across the entire arena in a blinding light, no one could see anything or know what happened at all. But for the two inside of the arena grounds it felt like time had just stopped for them as they floated in an endless sea of a strange black void with a black yet clear sticky substance filling it. Looking within this void there would be something glowing; it would look like their very souls, except in this space they seemed gigantic and way bigger. Within the sea of Shiro's there would be something. That girl that was in her head made their appearance here and would float beside Shiro with a look of awe at the soul for a moment before looking back at Shiro. "So it's happening young. It is a tad bit soon for this to happen now, but the sooner the better. You need to become strong." Shiro would seem surprised seeing her head and would squeal. "E-enigma? What are you doing here, what do you want! Actually never mind tell me what this is." Enigma would have seemed to fold her arms and turned away with a pout acting slightly immature for the age she seemed. "Wow, you seem so appalled to see me, but want me to tell you? Well since I'm so nice I still will, alright. Well Shiro we are currently in the sea of your soul. You know those flashes that kept happening? That meant you were close to your awakening and it was happening quite quickly with bursts of your power slipping through the cracks as you ready to elevate to a new level. This is called 'Soul Awakening' as it is the first time. With this you have become more in tune with your soul, at the same time your soul has ascended to a higher plane. Yeah sounds complicated, but you'll get it with time." Shiro would have been confused, but then she would have remembered Alphys had spoken about something like this. "Wait, how come I was the first to do it, wait did Sora do it too!" Enigma would give a soft hum and then spoke. "The only reason you have done it first, is because it has only recently become a possibility. This world has finally broken the threshold of power needed for a soul to even be able to awaken. Well it happened some time back. Anyways, still it is peculiar you did it before Frisk and the others right? Well I believe that is nothing but your hybrid potential, and maybe a bit of your knack too. As for Sora, well, he has, yet I cannot explain to you how. His perseverance to not be left behind by you perhaps? Or maybe it is the great link between you two formed through experience. Who knows. Anyways go get em Shiro." "W-wait!" Shiro would say although Enigma was walking away into the infinite darkness until she disappeared from sight. Now Shiro looked back up to the soul which was about finished with its change. Although it took not only a change in status, but a change in appearance as it flipped to be straight up compared to its upside down status to match that of a monster. The right-side up red soul would now have a bit of a white accent or gradient to still represent the monster part of her. Yet the monster and the human part now seemed in more perfect unison. As for Sora there of course was no one to talk with him there so all he would see is his perseverance soul have more of that black curse around it.. His very soul now accepts his curse more to see it as less of a curse and more of a gift? And now for at least the people on the outside it would seem that it ended in almost an instant as they could see everything once more.
