Chương 27: Betrayal

Ariana's POV

I stared at Selene in shock as she entered the room and who was the man with her?, He looks so much like Apollo.

"You are sorry?, what are you doing here Selene?" I asked her as I saw Axel glare at me, I rolled my eyes at him as I saw Selene lick her bottom lips before looking up to face me.

"I came here to apologize to you and to take you home" Selene said as I laughed, my laugh wasn't full of happiness, it was filled with a sneer and anger.

"What make you think I would go back with you?" I asked her as she fiddled with the hem of her gown.

"I-i" Selene wanted to say something but she couldn't bring herself to say it, I wanted to follow her but my mate Cyrus was here, how would I just leave him and go with them. After all those years I finally get to see a mate and she wants me to go with her.

"You should just leave" I sighed out with a shaky breath as Cyrus wrapped a hand around my waist keeping me steady as I wavered a bit.
