Chương 5: Dire Wolves Dungeon

Daniel woke up in the morning and freshened up before leaving for the gaming house.

After arriving at the gaming house, he went to the reception and booked a premium capsule this time.

'Now that I have a lot of money, I can atleast give the premium capsule a try for the first time!' He was overjoyed at the thought of it.

Last night, when the auction was held, his Staff was sold at the price of 42000 Dollars, and he got 39,480 Dollars after a 6% commission fee. It was much more than the normal selling price.

That was why auctions were the best option for selling high quality equipment.

After renting the Premium capsule worth 250 dollars for a day, he walked to the capsule and got inside it.

The door closed as he out the headset on. Soon, he clicked the start button and fell asleep.

As always, a familiar sound rang in his head as soon as he logged in.

He opened his eyes and found himself inside the room he had rented.

"Nya~!" Lumi kept jumping around when she noticed that Daniel was back.

"Hey Lumi! I'm back!" Daniel carried her in his hands and gently stroked her hair.

"Nyaya~!" Lumi felt immense pleasure while being stroked by her owner.

"I made a lot of money thanks to you! I will get you something good to eat today!" Daniel thanked Lumi, knowing that she understood him well.

"Nyaa!" Lumi was excited to try something good today. She quickly sat on his shoulder and pointed at the door, as if telling him to exit the inn quickly.

"Let's go then." Daniel laughed and left the inn soon. He walked to the nearest pet shop and met the shop owner.

"Good morning sir! What would you like to buy from our store?" The owner was a lady in her 30's. She was really polite to Daniel and everyone around her.

"Good morning! I would like some high quality food stuff for my little Lumi." He pointed at Lumi who was sitting comfortably on his shoulder.

"Ah! She's such a cute companion! I will be right back with the food for her." She was mesmerized by Lumi's stunning charm.

'Oh she's such a cute pet! I wanna hold her in my hands so bad!' the shop owner badly wanted to hold Lumi in her hands but she was a little shy to ask for Daniel's permission.

'Anyways, I should get the best quality food for her!' she quickly focused on her work and searched for the best quality stuff in her store.

"Found it!" She found the glowing berry that was red in color. It emitted a bright light and it's size was that of a grape.

She quickly headed back to Daniel and put the Glowing berries on the table.

"These are...?" Daniel was confused when he saw the glowing red berries. He had never seen them before.

"These are the glowing red berries which are one of the best food for fox type pets." The owner explained to him.

"I see, then what's the price?" Daniel asked the lady for the price of the berries.

"It's one of the best ingredients in my shop, so it's price is also a little high. It's 200 Gold coins per packet." The owner stated the price and Daniel wasn't shocked by it.

'100 dollars... Hmm... it's a fair price for a high grade pet food.' he thought to himself.

"Okay, I would like to buy 2 packets." He raised two of his fingers as he said this.

"Alright! I will give you a discount because of this cute little fox." The shop owner smiled and quickly handed two packets of berries to Daniel.

"You can give me 350 coins instead of 400." She said and smiled.

"Alright! Thankyou for the discount!" Daniel quickly handed the money over to her and left the store with Lumi and the berries.

He saw a bench outside and sat on it after patting the dust off it. He put Lumi gently on his side and opened one packet of berries.

He took out a berry from the packet. It was brightly glowing in red. It looked fresh and delicious.

"Nya~!" Lumi's mouth started watering after seeing the glowing berry. It was an expensive pet food for a reason afterall.

"Here, you can eat this, Lumi." Daniel moved his hand closer to Lumi's mouth as she opened opened it wide.

As soon as Daniel's hand reached closer to Lumi's mouth, she instantly gobbled up the berry.

"Nyaa!!" The heavenly taste left Lumi stunned for a second before she started munching it.

As soon as she finished eating it up, she asked Daniel for another one.

"Here." Daniel again fed her the berry and she ate it in an instant once again.

After feeding her a few more berries, Daniel put the berries back in his inventory. It was an expensive item so he had to save it for the later too.

"Nya!" Lumi felt energetic as she ate the berries. She felt like she could do anything.

"Now that you're flowing with energy, shall we go to the next dungeon?" Daniel looked at Lumi and patted her.

"Nya!" Lumi nodded and energetically jumped on his shoulder.

"Good, let's go then." Daniel quickly walked to the forest. Upon reaching the forest, he went to the Dire Wolf dungeon.

The dire wolf dungeon was a good hunting ground for players at level 100 to 130, but Daniel was here even before level 100. He had the stats of a level 125 player. He didn't have to fear the dire wolves. Moreover, he had Lumi backing him. Her powerful buffs and debuffs were no joke.

He rolled up his sleeves, standing in front of the dungeon gate. "Alright then! Let's begin, Lumi!" He stepped inside the dungeon gate and instantly got teleported inside the dungeon.

As he opened his eye, he found himself inside the dire wolf dungeon. The gate behind him had closed and big giant direwolves were waiting for him ahead.

"Lumi, cast the unlucky debuff on them." He commanded Lumi to cast the debuff first.

"Nya-!" A large magic circle formed over the pack of dire wolves. They were all confused but unaware of what was about to happen with them.

[Pet Lumi has casted a debuff on the Enemies.]

"Let's go now!" Daniel took out his giant sword and charged at the enemies in front of him.

"Knight's charge!" He activated his knight class skill, which formed a red aura around him, giving him insane speed and strength for a short amount of time.

*Boom* the direwolves didn't get enough time to react to his attack and many of them were hit by his giant sword.

"Grrr!" The direwolves groaned in pain. Their HP had dropped by 75% in an instant.

"Grrr!!" The direwolves charged at Daniel with anger. They wanted to shred him into pieces.

"Lumi!" Daniel gave Lumi the signal and soon, she appeared in front of him.

"Nya!" Lumi's presence alone made the direwolves get chills. She was a divine being, a fragment of a god, so it was natural for beasts and animals to fear her presence.

"Grahh!!" But due to Lumi's low level, it wasn't enough to make them back off, although it did lower their stats.

"Good job Lumi!", Daniel gave Lumi a thumbs up and then focused on his part.

As soon as the direwolves charged at them, some of them fell on the ground unconscious, and the others fell because of their comrades's bodies blocking their path.

"Hahaha, this Unlucky debuff sure is great!" Daniel grinned wickedly as he saw the bodies of the direwolves on the ground.

"Hahh!" He leaped into the air and used his skill "Knight's smash!"

*Boom* the direwolves were crushed into paste. Their bones became powder and their flesh flattened on the ground.

Blood splattered on the ground, making Daniel want to puke all of a sudden.

"Argh! I overdid it..." He regreted doing that to the poor direwolves, but then again, this was just a game so it was fine.

"Nya--" Lumi stared at him and took a step back.

"... Why are you going away, Lumi?" Daniel felt as if Lumi misunderstood him as a psycho killer.

"Aw look, who wants this delicious and juicy berry?" He took out a berry from his inventory and soon, Lumi jumped up high and took the berry off his hand using her mouth.

She gulped it in an instant and started rubbing her body at his legs.

"Haha, let's go further inside the dungeon. I will give you more berries after we clear this dungeon." Daniel picked up Lumi and put her on his shoulder.

"Let's go!" He started walking further inside the dungeon.

"Nyaa!"
