Important Things
Hi. First of all, welcome to my second novel... "The Path of Ruin".
Maybe some of you know me from my first novel, you know my writing style and what kind of person I am. But this novel... will be a bit different from that. Let's clarify these things first.
First, I used to write in the first person POV, but this novel will be written in the third person pov. So it might feel a bit different. If you haven't read my previous novel, this won't be a problem for you anyway. But even though I write in the third person pov, you will learn the details of the world, the kingdoms, the fantastic things as the main character learns. Because he doesn't know much either.
Second, there will be romance. And there is no harem again. But this time I'm not as novice about it as before. So... I think it will be better? I'm not sure, but I'll do my best. Don't expect the romance to develop early, though. The main character has a lot to go through before the romance.
Third, I think the most complained thing in my previous novel was unnecessary tragedy. Well, this novel is set as a dark fantasy... so I can't say there is no tragedy, the world is cruel after all. But it won't be as intense as before. At least it will be more balanced, I'm sure of that.
Fourth, the chapters will be between 1,400-2,000 words. I don't plan to go lower or higher. Maybe there will be exceptions like the first chapter, it's a bit long not gonna lie... But in general, I think the average will be around 1,600 words.
Finally, if you have any complaints, if you see something you don't like, if you want to criticize, please voice it. I am not an extremely talented author. Of course I make mistakes. I am not perfect, but I 'want to improve'. So please don't refrain from criticizing me thinking that you will offend me. If you are going to write a review, feel free to dig my grave where you feel you need to so that I can understand your thoughts.
