How about we take a detour?" Ren asked with a smirk on his face. Astor did not have the time to react or answer when the Alpha took a swift turn and led the car off the main road. 

He took a deep breath, surprised by the sudden decision and fixed himself on the seat.

"Well I guess we will." Astor said and Ren chuckled. They were fifteen minutes away from the city by now, entering a small forest that surrounded the left side of the land. Ren drove for a good ten minutes more until the car was not able to go any deeper into the forest.

Both of them got off, Ren's shoes ending up diving in a puddle of mud and he groaned, disgusted.

"Shit" he swore, staring at the brown mess sprawled all over his expensive shoes.

"Welcome to the countryside." Astor mocked him and patted his back before he started walking in front of him. 

"I can handle the countryside. Just not in these shoes."
