Ísar was beginning to spiral yet again.
He'd just received news from the Count that before they had deployed their men to the East, a good number of civilians had been ripped to shreds. He had just been giving the total number of casualties, not just from the East, but around the island nation's borders for the past week.
Osayi's presence had turned the tide in the East, but it was almost too late. An entire village had been wiped out while he was too busy trying to mediate an argument. If Osayi hadn't visited his kingdom when he did, Ísar was so sure that he would've lost the entire East.
It wasn't just there as well. For the past week, Osayi's golden eyes would glow, and the boy would stop all conversations and vanish to another section of the kingdom. The prince would single-handedly push back the monsters over and over and over again, only to return with a bright smile on his face and more darkness under his pretty eyes.
