Sebastian felt the weight of Rebecca's worried gaze as he stood before the group. He understood her reluctance to let him venture out alone, but the situation demanded swift action.

With a reassuring nod, he turned and leapt out the window, landing in the streets below.

The area was indeed teeming with fangeds, but Sebastian had already cleared this street and planned his route.

As his boots hit the ground, he ran away from the window while he made his illusions, creating an army of copies of himself that started rushing through the streets.

He also gave the illusions a faint glow so that he could better see in the dark night, and making it easier for the fangeds to spot the illusions.

Sebastian's illusions surged forward, drawing the attention of the swarming fangeds.

Even if they were scared or battled against each other, there was nothing they could do to prevent their instinct to prey on humans.
