Chương 4: Pokémon Chapter: 4 Dangerous Training
While waiting for the package to arrive at his dorm, Troy was remembering what moves the weedle would be able to learn, like poison stings, string shots, and bug bites. Seeing that these were the only moves, Wedle knew Troy felt like he was about to give up.
Hearing that the package had arrived, Troy picked it up and sent weedle out, "Alright, weedle, you're going to eat normal leaves, but don't worry, I also got you oddish leaves to diet on; I'll only give you one a day to eat." But before we feed you, we need to train.
Before going off to the training ground, Troy had been fidgeting with the bracelet. Troy discovered other training grounds, and another thing was that you can also earn points for scoring a certain number of points, though this was only for rookies to use, and the points were only like 10.
Troy started to head to the aiming grounds to train weedle. Once there, Troy sent weedle and gave it the command, "Okay, weedle, we're going to be training up your string shot, so get ready to be exhausted." weedle hearing nodded its head in agreement and started to follow Troy's instructions. Troy remembered that there are three different types of mastery for moves. 1st being beginner, 2nd being expert, and 3rd being master, and trying to level these moves up requires an insane amount of talent.
Knowing that his weedle has a gold color around him, Troy expected this to not be as hard as the books say. When Troy wished he knew how to tell what mastery weedle moves, the bracelet started to scan the weedle and show its moves and what mastery they are at. Troy looked at the moves and what mastery they were out, only seeing poison stings, string shots, and bug bites, and they were all beginners.
While looking at the bracelet, Troy's eyes started to act up again and hurt, nearly feeling like he was about to lose consciousness, but he stopped himself from falling once again, looking at weedle, who seemed to be worried. Troy told her he was fine. Suddenly Troy looked bewildered. He was seeing his Pokémon stats and moves and even showed the gender of his Pokémon.
"What the hell is going on? Why can I see my Pokémon's stats and moves while also seeing this weird glowing color around them? I need to figure out how this strange phenomenon even works." Troy, realizing that he was talking out loud, looked around him to make sure no one was around him. Getting back to work, he told weedle to keep using string shots until it can't on this standing target.
After what seemed to be about 45 minutes of relentless string shots, weedle had finally had enough. Troy, seeing this, told weedle to take a break. Looking around, Troy started to see a few people finally tamed their Pokémon and headed to the training ground. "Alright, weedle, next you're going to be using poison sting while also wiggling as much fat as you can around the field, as I'll be timing you. Once you're done with this, we will be finished with training for the day."
Seeing the weedle keep using poison stings while also wiggling across the field, only for Troy to say, Do it again, for this to keep going on for the next 2 hours. Seeing that weedle was completely drained and couldn't go on anymore, Troy returned weedle and headed back to his dorm to prepare weedle's food. Seeing that it was not enough food, weedle tried to cuddle up to Troy. Troy, still thinking about how to train weedle, was preparing its food. He suddenly felt a zap and yelled in surprise. Suddenly, Troy remembered that weedle could learn one more move. Looking through the shop, Troy had bought something that might help weedle learn a new move.
While weedle was eating, Troy was waiting impatiently for his new training tool to arrive. After what seemed to be an hour of waiting, a doorbell rang. Troy, hearing this, got up from his bed and opened the package. What seemed to be revealed in the box was a taser. Troy grabbed it, checked how much voltage it could go up, and went to weedle. "Hey, Bud, I know you're tired from all the training today, but could you try a few more string shots shooting through the taser just until we can see if you can learn a new move?" Weedle, agreeing to this, started to use a string shot at the taser. Just as the string touched the laser, he started to feel the shock for a few seconds before fainting.
Troy, seeing this, turned the taser off and quickly checked on the weedle to see if it had any injuries, seeing as it was just unconscious. Troy sighed in relief before suddenly feeling huge shock go through his body and crying out in pain, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," and lost consciousness.
