The resounding clash of wood against wood echoed repeatedly, followed by the loud heaving of heavy breaths and deep gasps.

The large tree looming before him had signs of gashes and grroves from repeatedly clashing his wooden sword against its back.

Once again, underneath the sunset of that evening, Huey lowered his stance, shifted his feet apart only slightly, and raised his sword at the tree again.

One more time, he recited inwardly, and unleashed a furry of swings in resolute succession.
