Despite wanting to get dressed for dinner beforehand so there wasn't much for her to do after she ate, Scarlet sat in the kitchen, watching as Ian prepared her food.
It smelled good from beginning to end and Scarlet wondered how long it took for him to become good at cooking. What kind of food did he have to put up with when he first ran away from home? He had no choice but to get better if he wanted to survive on good-tasting food.
Ian was completely aware of the way she watched his every move. Scarlet was making it hard for him to concentrate. To not cut his finger because he wanted to sneak a glance at how she was staring at him.
If not for wanting to give her something proper to eat since all she ate were the sandwiches and a piece of cake at their little party, he would end this now and have her once more.
