With a single slash, Kyomu cut open the sea, and the parted waters couldn't reunite for a long time.
Without the concealment of the seawater, the Three-Tails Isobu found it difficult to escape.
But instead of fighting, Isobu still wanted to run away.
Without looking back, Isobu fled to one side, but Kyomu wouldn't just stand there and watch Isobu escape again.
It was time to kill Yagura and the Three-Tails Isobu within him.
Flying towards Mei, Kyomu scooped her up into his arms.
"It's time to kill Yagura," Kyomu reminded Mei.
"How will you kill him?" Mei responded blankly.
The fully transformed Yagura, now the Three-Tails, was only focused on escaping. In Mei's mind, no type of attack could kill a fully transformed Jinchuriki.
"Hold onto my hand," Kyomu didn't explain further. "I'll kill him for you."
"Okay," Mei nodded, grabbing Kyomu's waist with one hand and holding the hand gripping the sword hilt with the other.
Instantaneous Movement.
Without any delay, they appeared above Isobu's head. The wind, yin, and lightning attributes within Kyomu's body surged and merged, forming a spatial Kekkei Genkai that affected the surrounding space.
Dimensional Slash: Annihilation!
As Kyomu swung his sword downwards, the surrounding space suddenly solidified, and the fleeing Isobu was frozen in place as if under a binding spell.
Not only was the fully transformed Yagura frozen, but even the parted seawater on both sides seemed to have been paused, the waves frozen in mid-collapse.
Kyomu's chakra rapidly depleted, but his sword movement, though slow, was swift. As the blade tip descended, it gradually tore through the space in front of him.
Crack.
The space in front of him turned into a mirror-like surface, and tiny cracks began to form. The small eyes of the Three-Tails Isobu were filled with despair.
It had used all its strength, but the solidified space was like an invisible solid, completely trapping it.
As the spatial cracks continued to spread, Isobu felt the approach of death. It struggled desperately, moving slightly, but it was meaningless.
Crack.
The spatial cracks continued to spread, quickly covering Isobu, making its body look like shattered porcelain.
The light in its eyes dimmed rapidly; both Isobu and its Jinchuriki Yagura knew their fate was sealed.
The tip of Yoei had reached its lowest point, and the space in front of Kyomu and Mei shattered into fragments, reflecting the dazzling light of spatial severance.
Crash.
Like a shattered mirror, the space in front of them fragmented layer by layer. Everything within that space, including Isobu's massive body, was torn apart, turning into irregular fragments.
But soon, the spatial cracks rapidly healed. However, Isobu, now entirely severed, was already dead, and its Jinchuriki Yagura's body was also shattered into hundreds of pieces.
Splash.
A large amount of seawater rushed back in, covering Yagura's broken body. Isobu, having died for the first time at the hands of a human, was now dead.
"Did he just die like that?" Mei turned to Kyomu, her mouth agape.
"What, did you want to torture him a bit?" Kyomu teased.
"No... I mean... He was the Three-Tails Jinchuriki and the Fourth Mizukage. He died too easily, didn't he?"
"It looks simple to you," Kyomu set Mei down. "But to die from spatial severance is an honor. Not everyone gets to experience that. Yagura can be proud."
"What I meant is, you killed Yagura without any effort." Mei added quickly, "You're very strong, and it's very reassuring."
"You also played a part." Kyomu smiled. "Let's go back to the ship. I'll take you home."
Returning to the deck with Mei, Kyomu appeared as usual. The people on the deck—Terumi, Hozuki, Hoshigaki, and Kaguya clans—looked at Kyomu with reverence.
The Three-Tails Jinchuriki and Fourth Mizukage Yagura was killed just like that, and the surrounding space seemed fragile under Kyomu's blade.
He was incredibly strong!
However, Kyomu knew how much effort it took. The fully transformed Isobu, as large as a mountain, required an immense amount of chakra to use the 'Dimensional Slash: Annihilation' over such a vast area.
Without the tailed beast chakra Kyomu had absorbed from the Eight-Tails and the Three-Tails Isobu using Yoei's 'Soul Partition' ability, he wouldn't have had enough chakra to pull off such a feat.
But after such a feat, Kyomu's chakra was almost depleted. Though it was rapidly recovering, it would take seven or eight days to reach its peak again.
As long as he didn't show it, the newly joined members of Ryūgakure—Terumi, Hozuki, Hoshigaki, Kaguya, and others—would respect and even fear Kyomu from the bottom of their hearts.
If Kyomu could casually break space and kill the Three-Tails Isobu, he could also wipe them out if they harbored any rebellious thoughts.
"Everyone, rest well. In five or six days, we'll reach the port of the Land of Dragons."
"Yes, Ryūkage-sama." The newly loyal Mist Ninjas bowed respectfully. Kyomu nodded and entered the cabin.
Mei followed immediately, while the others took different passages into the cargo hold.
"Can you stop following me?" Kakashi said, feeling uncomfortable. "Can you stay with your clan?"
Haku didn't respond, holding Kakashi's thumb and fingers firmly.
Shaking his head, Kakashi led his shadow into the cargo hold, away from Kyomu.
He was tasked with watching the newly loyalists to prevent any trouble.
Fortunately, they were genuinely loyal, and the journey was smooth.
Finally, after seven days, Kyomu and his group reached the port of the Land of Dragons.
"Ah... It feels so good to have solid ground under my feet!"
Might Guy sighed in relief, finally free from seasickness.
Hearing Might Guy's sigh, Kyomu, Kakashi, and Obito burst into laughter.
"Guy, doesn't your youth include seasickness?" Kyomu teased, making Might Guy blush.
"Even youth has its weaknesses..."
"Hahaha..."
Kyomu, Kakashi, and Obito's laughter echoed far, with Obito's laughter being the loudest.
After a few more jests, they let Might Guy off.
"Guy has his own title now." Obito sighed, "I'm the only one without one."
"You'll get one too." Might Guy patted Obito's shoulder. "I, the Blue Beast, guarantee with my youth that you will."
"Blue Beast, huh?" Kakashi draped an arm over Might Guy's shoulder. "What a mighty title!"
"Of course, it's the embodiment of my youth."
"I think it sounds more like a rare beast," Mei interjected, "Can you stop mentioning youth every sentence? It's hard not to laugh."
"You'll get used to it. Guy's youth is admirable," Kyomu defended Might Guy. "Once you get to know Guy, you'll find that being with him always keeps you motivated."
"I see you three have a really good relationship," Mei said enviously. "It's a relationship I never dared to dream of."
"You'll have friends and comrades you can trust with your life too," Kyomu reassured her. "The nightmares are over. The Land of Dragons will be your new beginning."
Chatting casually, it took them another three days to return to Ryūgakure.
"Kyomu, who is she?"
At the village entrance, Yugito's excited expression faded upon seeing Mei, her eyes glinting with a strange light.
"She's the leader of the Terumi clan, Mei," Kyomu introduced, pulling Mei closer. "This is Yugito, my secretary. She's very capable."
Mei glanced playfully at Yugito before focusing on Kyomu, her expression unreadable.
Is Kyomu really oblivious, or is he just pretending? Who cares.
Mei stepped forward and extended her hand, "Mei, pleased to meet you."
Yugito looked at Kyomu, then at Mei's outstretched hand. With a cold expression, she shook hands briefly with Mei before pulling away quickly, as if afraid of being bitten.
New to the village, Mei didn't want to cause trouble despite Yugito's attitude. She planned to settle scores later, once things calmed down.
"Let's go back to the village," Kyomu commanded, leading the group into Ryūgakure.
Yugito quickly pushed Mei aside to walk next to Kyomu, flipping through her notebook to report recent events.
Kyomu listened intently, quickly issuing orders while Yugito diligently recorded them. Her sidelong glances at Mei conveyed her specific meaning, which Mei easily sensed.
Pouting, Mei turned away, not wanting to engage with Yugito.
I haven't even done anything, and you're already guarding your territory?
In front of the Ryūkage Building, Kyomu stopped and began giving instructions.
"Kakashi, take Haku and her clan to settle near your and the teacher's residence."
"Obito, the Kaguya clan will be placed next to the Uchiha clan's territory, and the Hoshigaki clan on the other side."
"Mei, the Terumi clan will be next to the Uzumaki clan's territory. Yugito will show you the way."
After assigning the clan residences, Kyomu added, "Once settled, show them around the village and explain the rules and regulations.
"Also, once they are familiar with the village, organize them for registration and entry into the village's ninja database."
Finished with his instructions, Kyomu waved his hand, "Go, make sure everything is properly arranged."
Kakashi, Obito, and Yugito nodded and led the four clans away, while Might Guy followed Kyomu into the Ryūkage Building.
"Guy, are you comfortable with your position?"
"Not really," Guy scratched his head, "I can't handle a lot of things and have to rely on my deputy."
"Your job is to supervise the deputy and ensure no mistakes," Kyomu patted Guy's shoulder. "I think you..."
"Kyomu," Guy interrupted, "I don't want to do these things. It was necessary before due to the lack of talent in the village, but now there's someone who can replace me... I want to step down."
"Step down?" Kyomu looked at Guy, "What do you want to do after stepping down?"
"I want my youth to be known to the world. Youth shouldn't belong only to me and my father; many others deserve it too." Guy said seriously, "Some people don't have the talent to train chakra but have the talent for taijutsu.
And my youth suits them. I want to guide them."
"You want to be a teacher?" Kyomu nodded, "That's possible, but I think the ninja school isn't suitable for you. The 'Lecture Conference' is more appropriate.
"Next month's Lecture Conference will be hosted by you."
"Can I really do that, Kyomu?" Guy's eyes sparkled.
"Of course you can. Your youth should be known to the world and should guide those lacking talent in ninjutsu towards a path.
"And I believe that as long as you work hard, your youth won't be inferior to anyone's."
"Thank you, Kyomu." Guy thanked sincerely.
"Between brothers, there's no need for thanks," Kyomu shook his head. "And you inspired me. I think it's time to establish a 'Taijutsu Division.'
"And you'll be the head of this Taijutsu Division. Your job is to lead a group of people committed to youth, training, refining, and developing various taijutsu techniques.
I believe you'll excel in this."
After a brief hesitation, Guy nodded firmly, "Kyomu, I can do this!"
"Then go prepare. When Yugito returns, I'll have her help you organize it."
Guy left, and Kyomu entered his office, comfortably sitting in the boss's chair.
"Ah, I can hardly imagine the impact of Guy leading a charge with a group of disciples using the Eight Gates."
Kyomu envisioned, "A single 'Night Guy' from each of them...!"
Shudder~
