Narrator's POV
"I see it's quite the party here..."
Hanju couldn't help but comment as he looked at Johan standing in front of a blood-covered Xialong on the ground.
"Who are you?"
Samuel couldn't help but frown as he looked at the group that had burst in. He recognized Jerry and Lineman, but the other two were unknown to him.
He could handle Jack while waiting for Johan to weaken Eugen's foundation and the Workers as planned, but the variable that Hanju represents gives him a bad feeling.
"Me? I'm just an employee of Tom Lee's." Hanju calmly replied as he slowly approached Johan, who was standing in front of a Xialong completely covered in blood.
He doesn't know how deep the damage Johan has inflicted on the Chinese man is, but he knows that at this rate, he'll end up killing him.
"I must protect Miss Vivi..."
He couldn't finish his words before receiving a blow to the stomach. This action opened Jerry and Jack's eyes wide.
From their point of view, Hanju isn't a bad guy.
"Why did you do that?" Jack walked quickly before grabbing Hanju's shoulder to turn him around.
"What? You mean my punch?"
"Yes, exactly. He had already lost." Jack couldn't help but be angry at Hanju's act. He literally knocked out a defenseless man.
"Johan wouldn't have gotten anything out of him anyway, and Vivi is behind that door. If we want to bring down Eugen, then we need the data hidden here, not a Xialong as mute as a carp."
Hanju pushed Jack's hand away before turning his attention back to Samuel, who seems to be smirking as he looks at him.
'I'm sure that bastard agrees with me, but I have a bad feeling,' Hanju thought after passing Xialong's knocked-out body.
He sensed an attack coming from behind. Barely a minute had passed since his gaze had crossed that of Samuel Seo.
He dodged by pure reflex and turned towards the culprit. It was Johan. Behind him was Samuel with a sick smile.
It seems he whispered something in his ear.
"You're with them..." Johan whispered with a dangerous look.
Jeongdu Ma wanted to approach, but Jerry blocked his path.
'It seems Samuel told him something to push him to get in my way.'
Hanju slightly furrowed his brow. He knew that if everyone in this room confronted him, it would be annoying.
*clink* sound of belt
"I'm not your enemy, but I'll never back down from a mad dog from Gangbuk ."
As Hanju finished these words, he felt an overwhelming presence. It was an even more frightening feeling for him than Hansu's special training against poison.

"Damn... I underestimated this guy."

At first, I could handle it and I thought we were at the same level.
