Ari raised a brow. She smiled and said in a calm voice, "Indeed the love of parents is something that only the fortunate get. It is funny, however, that many fail to appreciate it."
With her words, Ari belittled Penelope right back which caused the woman to stare at her with a cold look on her face.
However, a second later Penelope hitched her lips in a smile before saying to her, "You are right, some really do not appreciate the value of their parents' love. But what can be said about it? After all, children as fortunate as me have the love of parents in abundance. Only those who receive it in the same amount as beggars would receive pennies would think of appreciating it." As she talked she walked over to Millie and peered down at her canvas before furrowing her brows as she could not understand what the girl was trying to draw.
She remarked, "I thought your hospital was supposed to be helping my cousin get better and not support her in this madness."
