Chương 309: Splintering Emotions

Ariana stood in the restroom of the Nelson mansion. She stared at the oval-shaped mirror while holding both sides of the basin in front of her.

"What's happening to me?" She mused, feeling a burning sensation at the bottom of her core. It made her feel severely weak and winded.

Ariana's thoughts were muddled, and the control she was proud of was splintering into cracks.

"What the fuck is going on?" Ariana brought her hand to her face and pressed the heel of her palm on her forehead as she looked at her reflection, which was getting more and more blurry with each passing second.

Something was very wrong with her.

'I need to go back home,' Ariana had been sharp when it came to sensing danger.

Like how she knew when to lower her head in front of her mother, like how she knew how to plead with Noah when he refused to show her the respect that she deserved.
