Chương 97: Pay more attention

The blow from Genesis' reverse blade sword hit Charm squarely on her right shoulder.

It hurt like hell causing Charm to wince and nearly drop her shield but if she did that the shield would only land on her toes and she wouldn't be able to bear the pain.

The Genesis she fought with now seemed less austere than the one she met a few weeks ago. 

Charm was sweating profusely from the gladiator display ended Genesis had her go into gladiator training not long after. 

She wiped the sweat off her brow with the back of her right hand and slowly raised the heavy shield back up with her left hand. 

The armor alone slowed down her movements because they were so heavy yet Genesis moved around so quickly like they weighed nothing. 

Such pressure from Genesis was intense and even the blow he just struck on her shoulder made the shield she was holding feel even heavier than it usually did.
