Thor seemed righteous and eager to tell Clark that the Tesseract was the treasure of Asgard!
However, facing his seemingly gentle but actually murderous uncle, how could he say such words? How dare he?
After a series of events, Thor was no longer the same. Although he was still impulsive most of the time, there were moments when he appreciated his uncle's wisdom.
When it's time to be bold, be bold; when it's time to be cautious, consider from the heart.
Although Thor had yet to see such excellent qualities in his uncle, it didn't stop him from learning and progressing.
Thus, Thor returned the Tesseract to Clark with a smile: "I was too anxious just now and almost forgot to return this to you."
Clark received the Tesseract with a smile and patted Thor's shoulder: "Do your best! Show the dignity of a king. Your uncle will always be your solid backing."
The relationship between Thor and Clark was not known to others, but how could Heimdall be unaware?
However, he wisely chose not to comment on Clark's condescending tone.
Then, led by Thor, Clark, Heimdall, and Ava, a large group of Asgardian warriors boldly marched towards the palace.
On the way, they encountered guards controlled by a superstar spirit. However, under the influence of Clark's melodious voice, those bewildered soldiers switched sides, joining Thor's Asgardian forces to maintain the glory of the Norse gods.
Thus, the loyalist forces grew stronger as they approached the palace. By the time they reached it, they numbered a hundred thousand, with only Loki and the superstar remaining as enemies.
Seeing everyone swarm into the palace, Loki on the throne revealed a mischievous smile.
Simultaneously, Thor noticed Clark suddenly disappearing and reappearing behind an Asgardian soldier at the palace gate. Clark kicked him hard, sending him tumbling at Thor's feet, where the illusion magic lost its effect, revealing a disheveled Loki.
Everyone looked toward the throne, but it was already empty.
Seeing Loki's failed escape attempt, Thor wore a bitter smile of disappointment and ordered his capture.
The superstar, seeing Loki attempt to flee alone, showed contempt and arrogantly turned to face the crowd. Her gaze finally rested on Clark: "With such allies, I admit my plan has failed. But... even if I surrender, do you dare kill me? Better to give me a ship and let me leave. It'll be easier for everyone."
Her logic was sound. As Thanos's powerful subordinate, capturing her was one thing, but dealing with her was another.
The superstar wouldn't dare venture into Asgard in its prime, as even Thanos might be dragged down. But Odin was old, and despite his strength, he lacked the ambition for a deadly confrontation.
However, the superstar underestimated one person - she forgot the most dangerous person in the hall wasn't Thor, but Clark!
With a gentle smile, Clark calmly said, "Hello, Superstar."
The superstar, thinking Clark was intimidated and considering demanding the Tesseract, suddenly felt a flash before her eyes. A sword energy swept across her neck.
In an instant, her head soared skyward, blue blood spraying across the court.
Clark received +1000 impression points from the superstar.
The superstar, dead!
Clark casually wiped his blood-free hands and completed his sentence: "Goodbye, Superstar!"
A single strike, shocking the court!
...
Alfheim was a beautiful place with mountains, trees, and various flowers, resembling a picturesque landscape painting. Elves with bows, staffs, and butterfly wings danced in the sunset, adding life to this beauty.
Under a tree, an elderly couple sat closely on a smooth stone, basking in the sunset's glow.
If Clark were there, he would have played "The Setting Sun" to enhance the moment.
But even without Clark, their peace was shattered.
Suddenly, Odin stood up, his one eye flashing with shock and anger: "That rascal, he used this method to retaliate against me, outrageous!"
Frigga, startled by Odin's outburst, asked, "What happened?"
Odin sighed: "Clark just killed Thanos's general, the superstar, in Asgard. This complicates things."
Odin and Frigga, seemingly ordinary elders, were in fact Odin, the Allfather, and his wife, Frigga.
Upon hearing Odin's words, Frigga looked confused: "So, you were pretending to watch the sunset with me while actually monitoring Asgard?"
Odin: ???
Frigga smiled, comforting him: "You've prepared for everything. What's the death of a superstar?"
Odin nodded and embraced Frigga, sitting back down: "I apologize for earlier. Let's watch the sunset together now, for real."
...
Even the cunning Odin, let alone the impulsive Thor, was startled by Clark's act.
Thor, unable to express any complaints, thought of his own words about purging invaders and capturing traitors. Clark had just acted on his words. How could he object now, as the rightful heir to the throne?
That evening, Clark and Ava stayed in a room arranged by Thor. Ava absorbed some life essence to stabilize her body, and nothing else happened.
The only line they hadn't crossed was that Ava remained a virgin.
The next day, Clark rose early.
Standing by the window, admiring the scenic view, he fiddled with a strangely-shaped stone necklace.
"Clark, is there something special about this necklace?" Ava approached from behind, pressing her body against his back, softly asking. "Since retrieving this stone from the superstar's body, you've been studying it non-stop. Is it a divine artifact?"
Clark shook his head, storing the necklace in his space, explaining, "It's not a divine artifact, but sometimes it's sharper than one. Though, it might never be used in a lifetime."
The necklace was to suppress Hebron. Clark initially thought it would be his Achilles' heel after absorbing Eternal genes. However, upon obtaining it, he realized it had no effect on him, only affecting the Hebron-origin eye.
This implied the necklace only affected Hebron or ordinary Eternals, not Clark, a human-Eternal hybrid. The stone was ineffective against him but worked on the Hebron eye.
The discovery was both good and bad for Clark. The good was fewer vulnerabilities; the bad was difficulty using it against Thanos or Zain.
If Clark was a hybrid, Thanos was a mutant Eternal, differing even in appearance from normal Eternals. Zain's lineage was even more complex, perhaps a mutant Eternal-Inhuman?
As Clark pondered, a knocking sound and Thor's voice came from outside: "Uncle Clark, Father has returned to Asgard and wishes to see you in the royal garden."
