Rosetta picked up a necklace adorned with blue sapphire diamonds. "This... If this is authentic, it would be worth more than all the houses in the village combined," she said.

"Where did you obtain this?"

"It doesn't matter where I got this, does it? As long as I can sell it," Lucien replied, crossing his arms with pride.

He finally felt he could eradicate poverty and build and develop everything he wanted without worrying about the budget anymore.

"Why don't you sell it to me?" Rosetta suggested confidently. "I am particularly interested in this ruby ring. We can negotiate a fair price."
