Tóm tắt
When Lu Xuan woke up, he found himself to be an Ordinary Spirit Plant Master in the Loose Repair Market, scraping by on his three-quarters of an acre Spirit Field in the Cultivation World.
Luckily, he made an accidental discovery that whenever a Spirit Plant matures, he would receive an extra reward.
For each Sword Grass he harvested, he would receive a Sword Pill.
For each Xuan Chong Vine he harvested, he would receive a portion of Hidden Star Sand.
For each Underworld Spring Flower he harvested, he would receive an Underworld Flame Elixir Recipe.
...
From then on, he decided to live a peaceful life, staying put and observing the tumultuous changes of the Cultivation World from his Spirit Field.
"What does a Fight Law contest, Secret Land exploration, seeking fairy fortunes, obtaining Magic Treasures... have anything to do with me?!”
"I just want to peacefully farm my land."

Viết đánh giáIt's actually a decent read so far. The MC's a lowkey type, and he does maintain that personality. The gold finger isn't too outrageous for me to drop it. Rather, it also has limitations and conditions when rewarding the MC with items, techniques, etc. It's also entertaining to see his life with plants and animals. I just need this clear stream in full action-packed webnovels. The interaction with other characters is also great, especially with Old He. I see the two of them as grandson and grandfather. Overall, it was a nice read, and I recommend it.
the mc developing character is interesting. i love the story went differ to what i predict when the mc rejected the offer to go adventuring after serious consideration. love it.
the usual generic storyline with a very low key mc with no goals or drive and a golden finger which makes him op just by lying down.....plot is not consistent.. mc recieves many rewards just for word count like never using pills or alchemy till now
READ UPTO CH-656 So here’s the thing, this one has a lot of plot holes, but if you can ignore it, it might just be okay. *provided that you also ignore the EXTREMELY slow pace and worst of the worst translations of course! I mean that’s obvious for CN, right? Right!* It gets so bad after 600+ chapters, they no longer just mess up the translations but even the order of the paragraphs are messed up. Like the paragraph that’s supposed to happen in the middle parts of the chapter, suddenly pops up between existing conversations in the first part of the chapter. It’s like a jigsaw that you have to arrange in your mind to understand the chapter completely. • There was that one time when MC solved the dying wish of a 6th grade sect beast, who had an obsession for something but no one know what and couldn’t solve it. It was explained that if no one could, and it does with regret, it will become an “evil” (never understood what those were). The MC obviously solved this using his cheat, and everyone realises that the beast just wanted some spirit brew that it’s previous (dead) owner used to give it. Using the same cheat, MC also finds out the recipe for it and makes it and relieves its obsession and letting it die in peace! The problem lies here, 100 chapters or so later, it is revealed that EVERY 5th grade or higher beasts refine some bone, that allows them to speak! Did no one think to ask the beast what’s up? Why you depressed? Do you need some alcohol that badly? It wasn’t even explained why it could just say it. • There are multiple instances where he plants some spirit seeds and completely forgets about them. As early as when he planted 20 blood ginseng after joining the sect, but there is no mention about them after. There was once when he planted some sun fruit seeds that would produce fruits that improved comprehension of eaten! That was supposed to such a W! Could’ve improved the MC’s qualifications for cultivation some how (which he keep cribbing about)! I mean, there was multiple times when he got stuff like these as rewards that increased comprehension a little or improved spirit roots a little, but he just stuffed them aside and never mentioned on using it! There was also this instance where he plants a flood dragon vine, and cultivation and gets a very good reward, and the thing about this plant is, you can cut the ends and recultivate the plant, and he does that. It’s a 3rd grade plant, with maturity period of about 3-4 years. It was never mentioned to the extent that I gave up thinking it was also forgotten, but 400+ chapters later, it’s just casually makes a reappearance, and the reward received then (almost 20+ years later) isn’t great. Dafuq?! • And the age old habit of all MC’s, they can’t stick to their ideologies. On one hand he wants to stay lowkey and survive without attracting any attention; on the other hand, opens a shop in his name and sells all treasures that are no longer useful to him or is still strong and useful but he already has something else that can do the same. Problem is, the combined value of the treasures he sells is equal to Nascent Soul cultivators, keep in mind that he is an early stage Core Formation casual cultivator. I’ll just stop here.
Tiết lộ Spoileroverall solid novel, albeit repetitive. the pacing is good if you skim. after he left the village for the sword sect that's when it went down hill for me.
Tiết lộ SpoilerIf someone decide to read this, dont do it. Give that time to your parents or siblings or just find some other good novel. It was a total waste of time, dont waste yours.
Character design is okay, but I have no idea if most are male or female. One paragraph has stated he, and in the next paragraph, it is changed to she. VERY confusing 😕. Waiting long for updates because of privileged chapters. Already spending a lot to read regularly
Who doesn't like hard-earned rewards? Not only does our MC gain some Spirit Stones by selling his matured Spirit Plants, but he also gains extra rewards from his golden finger. Had work sure pays off! The story gets better in the later chapters, at least that's what I think. Will he ever make some friends or will he stay forever a cultivating hermit? Read and find out!
capped out at 197 this wasn't like an insanely good book but at least it was good enough to pass the time. But the author keeps picking up stupid habits, first it was the bargaining, you like bargaining fine. You don't have to keep explaining the process repeatedly. Now it switched to this bullshit where even without the system the MC is apparently the smartest person in the room. You're trying so hard to make the MC out to be smart and it's not working. His train of thought is so out there, I don't even know where he comes up with these conclusions. it started with the crane treatment thing, and honestly I skipped that entire sequence. Instead of making him smart you're having to make every so stupid it's not even funny. The farming bit made sense why people can't dedicate all their time like the MC to plant and farm, but when it comes to the animals. They're all just ignorant, even situations where taking just small steps to change lil things that are inconsequential they act as if it's the end of the world. And when the MC succeeds he's a god. Forget one dimensional, these characters aren't even qualified for that. Their IQs might as well be in the single digits. I give up
It is a very good read to pass the time. MC is average in everything, from spiritual roots to comprehension. The only advantage is the system that helps him understand Spiritual Plants and the rewards he gets after painstakingly cultivating them. The rewards provided are the ones that are overly powerful, not the MC himself. But as they say, it is the resources that you have that can help you use your abilities to the fullest. He gradually gets powerful, but he is not too arrogant due to his "lack of talent" and cautious nature. One disadvantage of the translation is the lack of consistency in some of the grammar and power levels. It makes it confusing when a certain level is mentioned but is then given a different name later on in a different chapter. Makes it hard to determine what levels the characters are truly at.
I like the way mc having a slow and detailed course of life in cultivation world and melt my heart's for farming
Not gonna lie I love this novel. It’s not really slice of life but a character you can relate to for sure. Also he’s not overpowered and he’s very like how a person should be. The best thing is, if you like a farming sort of novel with a cautious and smart MCthis is soooo for you. I love farming and plants and alchemy related books and this one is definitely a treat of a book
I really love the novel and the story development, but why can't he have a woman you could make it a servant or a maid with spiritual roots or a different race like a beautiful beast that became human he needs some romance
Not original! More on rewards computation and assessment. It seems that the author needs to plagiarize/read some books to add some ideas. It's common to Chinese author! Anyway 90% are low IQ and they love such a story_ keep on showing computations of the rewards earned which for me a waste of time!!! Why not direct to the point and make it concise. There are other methods to lengthen a story, not just keep on showing the rewards earned!!!
The story development is good and the rewards aren't given directly but after he actually does the effort required to raise a plant.
