Due to some issues at Yun Mo's company, Yun Mo was unable to personally pick Qiao Xiaon'an up.

Upon returning to the Oriental Pearl, Madam Wu suddenly told Qiao Xiaon'an that there were urgent matters at home and needed to take a few days off.

So, for today's dinner, Qiao Xiaon'an had to fend for herself.

But that wasn't exactly a problem for a girl who came from an ordinary family like hers.

Effortlessly, she picked out two dishes she liked: chili pepper and spare ribs, intending to cook them to her own liking.

In the past, her mother often told her that to capture a man's heart, one needed to capture his stomach first. So, whenever her father was not home, her mother would usually have her practice her cooking skills instead, using it as an excuse to avoid cooking herself.
