BOODMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
Asterion, who had just touched the Goblet of Fire, felt the entire ground shake as the whole world seemed to spin, a gigantic explosion sounded as the ground seemed to ripple like the waters of a raging sea.
Looking up, he saw a gigantic pillar of lava rising kilometers high. It was so much bigger than Alexei Ivanov's previous attack that the two couldn't be compared.
One looked like the eruption of a small volcano, powerful, certainly, but still small. While the second was as if the end of the world would happen in a mere instant. It seemed as if the entire atmosphere of the planet would be scorched by the rain of fire and lava!
Dmitri?
"Why did he use his Innate Technique in such a crowded place?" Asterion muttered to himself, clearly confused by the Russian Minister of Magic's actions, but he didn't care why and acted quickly. He had to parry the attack or the whole place would simply be wiped off the face of the earth.
"Ouroboros..." Asterion muttered to himself as a gigantic curtain of darkness appeared above the Labyrinth of Knossos. An incredible amount of magical energy was automatically consumed within it. Then, under the eyes of all the participants, a gigantic silver serpent emerged from the curtain of darkness.
The snake moved its body gracefully through the air while the beast's silver eyes began to glow, and what happened in the next second made everyone feel extremely strange.
It was as if their bodies refused to listen to his command and began to rewind time. Projections of participants identical to their own appeared around each wizard and witch, which caused even more strangeness, because it was as if they were seeing their future, but they were all just going back in time.
Dmitri might have noticed this if he had been of sound mind, but he didn't care, he just wanted to kill his son's murderer and did it again.
"Innate Spell Manipulation - Lava World - End of the World Eruption-" Just as the Russian Minister of Magic was about to start using House Ivanov's Innate Technique again, a hand took a firm hold of his arm.
Asterion, who had arrived at Dmitri's side, took a firm hold of the Russian Minister of Magic's arm. He looked at the trembling man full of sadness and spoke with a calm but sympathetic voice.
"Minister, I know you must be suffering, I know the pain of losing a loved one, but bear in mind that we are not weak muggles or wizards who have the right to let off steam. We're too powerful, many would die because of our fury." He spoke, looking at Alexei Ivanov's lifeless body, his face was full of pain even in death while black lines could be seen in the blood vessels of the Heir of House Ivanov.
"He was poisoned by a knife to the heart." As an experienced coroner, Asterion came to the conclusion of the cause of death in an instant. It was a poison strong enough to kill a Grade 1 Wizard. Which was quite rare, given that the senses of a Wizard of this caliber were strong and could even warn of the danger of drinking or eating something poisoned.
Dmitri shivered at Asterion's words, closed his eyes and slowly lowered his hands. When the man opened them again, there was a chilling calm in the eyes of the most powerful man in Russia. Beneath the semblance of calm, there was a fury like a volcano about to explode.
Seeing this, Asterion breathed a sigh of relief, he didn't want to fight Dmitri, especially at this moment, having more enemies was too worrying, he didn't want to have one more.
"I want to know who killed my son and why." Dmitri looked at Asterion and spoke calmly. At that moment, he knew that Asterion, Dumbledore and Joseph were involved in his son's death.
"Three options. An Organization called R, Luis Delacuor or Joseph Weiss. Just choose who you want to destroy." Asterion replied in an equally calm tone, but anyone could see the murderous intent in Patriarch Black's gaze.
As soon as Asterion had finished speaking, Dmitri disappeared from where he stood.
Asterion shook his head and raised his wand upwards; at the same moment, a red beam of energy crossed the sky.
On the other side of the Labyrinth, Rose, who had rescued another participant in the tournament, raised her head and looked at the beam of red energy with a serious look on her face. She looked at Luna being helped by Cedric and disappeared from where she was. "Cedric, take care of Luna, I have business to do."
Cedric was surprised by her words, but just as he was about to ask, he saw Rose had disappeared, leaving him alone with Luna and the other injured foreign students.
"It's started." Lying looking at the moon, Luna with her eyes closed, muttered to herself with a calm look.
"What started it?" Cedric asked confusedly.
"The Third Magical World War."
-
Rose, who had teleported to the Quidditch Stadium, looked at the hundreds of Wizards and Witches in silence and raised her hand. Her eyes began to shine, making them even more beautiful than they normally were. She began to use the Innate technique of House Potter without scruples.
From the very beginning, she had been assigned to evacuate the entire Hogwarts audience to a place far away and safe! She was doing just that at this moment, a Special Grade Wizard battle was about to take place, if these wizards and witches remained in the place, they would all be killed.
A gigantic amount of magical energy began to be consumed, but Rose didn't care, without the limiters, she had infinite magical energy, she could regenerate it faster than she spent it.
"Innate spell manipulation - Limitless." Rose muttered as the space around the entire Quidditch stadium began to ripple, which naturally caused chaos in the place. Wizards and witches began to scream in fear, but it was all gone in an instant, all the hundreds of thousands of wizards and witches gone in a second.
Letting out a warm mist through her mouth, Rose felt her magical energy reach almost its bottom, she was recovering quickly, but this was the first time she felt she had run out of magical energy. At the same time, her brain hurt like hell, so much so that the white-haired girl held her head with her hands as she let out a pained moan.
However, Rose tried to ignore the pain and stared at the stands with a cold gaze.
In the VIP seats, the atmosphere was completely silent. Benjamin Thorne was livid with rage, no, to say he was angry or furious was an understatement.
At the thought that it could be his son lying lifeless, Benjamin wanted to tear Joseph Weiss apart at that very moment. Even though they were rivals, as a father, Benjamin could never wish for a father to lose his son. It was a pain he wouldn't wish on his worst enemy.
Joseph put his coffee cup down and looked at everyone with a calm gaze, his eyes focused on Dumbledore. "What did you expect? Did you expect me to remain silent while you two treated my country as a battlefield? Do you think I've forgotten that my brother died because of you? The humiliation, the pain and the lives lost do you think I would forget? Or perhaps you thought I wouldn't dare conspire against the great and powerful Albus Dumbledore?"
"Don't be childish Dumbledore, I can play that game too, even at the cost of my life." Joseph commented, his voice indifferent before the eyes of six Special Grade Wizards (Seven with Dmitri Ivanov). His every word made the atmosphere terribly heavy. Although they knew something was happening, they didn't expect it to be this.
Joseph may have been calm, but Luis Delacour wasn't showing the same calm. Cold sweat poured down the French Minister of Magic's face, and he felt like his heart was about to explode with the anxiety he was feeling at the moment.
"I really didn't think you'd dare plot against me, but that shows I'm getting older, my old self would have killed you a long time ago. Perhaps if I had, this wouldn't have happened." Dumbledore leaned back in his chair and replied, his voice calm and cold.
"Do you know what I'm going to do to your country? I'm going to bathe you in blood, I'm going to make you watch on your knees as you watch the deaths of your people and the war you've brought to this world once again." As Dumbledore spoke, the temperature in the room began to heat up, but it wasn't because of Dumbledore, but because of a tall, burly man in traditional Russian clothes.
Dmitri, his face cold, arrived in front of Joseph in an instant. Looking at the possible mastermind of his son's murder, the Russian Minister of Magic said: "I'll ask and you answer."
"Did you have my son killed?" When he asked this, the Minister of Magic's voice almost sounded like a fierce growl.
"No, but it was because of me that he died." Joseph raised his head and looked straight into the Russian Minister's blue eyes, he didn't flinch at the man's look of pure fury.
"Who was the mastermind?" Dmitri asked again with a terribly cold tone.
"I don't know his name, but he's the leader of Organization R, he's called the Sage, but apart from that, I don't know if he's a man or a woman." Joseph didn't hesitate to answer Dmitri's question. Just as he was using Organization R, Organization R was also using him, but cooperation didn't mean loyalty, especially when faced with the consequences of his actions.
When Dmitri was about to kill Joseph, he was stopped by two people, Benjamin and Dumbledore.
"If you kill him, he will become a martyr, your son will be forgotten as just collateral damage." Benjamin spoke in a calm tone, holding Dmitri's arm, who only growled angrily back at him.
"Yes, he doesn't deserve to die in such glory, let him fall from grace and then kill him. Have him erased from history." Dumbledore, holding his other arm, added with a cold glare at Joseph.
Joseph's face finally changed at Dumbledore's words, he hadn't expected the man to be so cruel as to say those words.
Dmitri gritted his teeth, he didn't want to take Benjamin and Dumbledore's advice, but thinking of the pain his son had suffered and the cowardly murder, he let out a fury-filled sigh and calmed down slightly.
"He will be imprisoned in Russia." Dmitri spoke, his voice leaving no room for negotiation. Although he couldn't kill Joseph, he could torture the man.
"As soon as Germany finds out that their Minister of Magic has been kidnapped, they will declare war." Dumbledore spoke, trying to persuade the Russian Minister, but how could he accept something like that.
"They already declared war when they killed my son." Dmitri replied harshly, his gaze terribly cold as he stared at Joseph.
"I declare war on Germany." Dmitri spoke, but when those words echoed in the room, the atmosphere became even heavier, if that was possible in the first place.
