The group of corpses, led by mutated zombies, and the gathering of children's corpses gradually swelled into an immense horde numbering over a thousand.
This congregation of corpses posed a greater menace than the previous encounter in the small fishing village. Adding to the peril was the fact that they were relying solely on the protection of a merry-go-round.
"Get ready, fire freely, don't let the zombies rush up!"
More than a hundred zombie corpses were now strewn across the ground, and the distance between the carousel cover and the ground had become perilously close. Adult zombies could almost extend their arms to grasp the edge of the carousel cover.
The Red Alert soldiers immediately shouted and commenced shooting at the advancing tide of zombies.
At this juncture, noon had arrived.
Each soldier's bullets were replenished and returned to full ammunition. The firepower immediately intensified, suppressing the zombie onslaught.
Ye Fan seized this opportunity to promptly convert the collected money.

The two medical soldiers, having finished bandaging Luo Fei, joined the sniper lineup. Two-star Army soldier Luo Fei immediately became the main force of the attack. Wang Hu and Li Biao sustained injuries but fought back, allowing the soldiers to enter the watchtower. Ye Fan locked the door, securing safety.
The iron stairs led everyone to the top. The medical soldiers provided swift aid, and Ye Fan administered a serum to Li Biao.
Looking downstairs, Ye Fan observed the frustrated zombies below, unable to climb the five-meter-high structure.
With around 400 zombies remaining, the situation finally stabilized. Ye Fan took a moment to breathe, assessing the tired soldiers around him. They had run out of ammunition and food, necessitating a break.
Suddenly, Xu Haoran, utilizing his scout wall-climbing skills, climbed up the building.
"Sir, the supply box is here!"
Ecstatic, Ye Fan received the box but hesitated. Instead of immediately opening it, he decided to expand production.
Initially, he had 2,500 gold, spending 1,200 on the sentry tower and allocating another 1,300. Considering the unused funds, Ye Fan chose to enhance production.
The army soldiers demonstrated outstanding firepower, particularly the two-star soldier Luo Fei. Impressed by their performance, Ye Fan decided to produce a batch of army soldiers.
Thirteen minutes later, five new army soldiers and a military dog stood beside Ye Fan.
With the sentry building now crowded with twenty people and two dogs, Ye Fan decided to open the supply box.

"Congratulations, sir, for receiving a collective star promotion reward for all Red Alert units within ten meters!"
