"But you hold tight on my flailing arms,
Pulling me to you; away from all harms,"

"I have applied for the nearest school, as you know the earlier one is already packed up." she reasoned removing her face mask, and massaging her face. It was her routine after praying Isha Salah.
Waqas's gaze lingers on the way she softly rubs the wetness away from her face.
She glanced at his reflection from the mirror and smiled at him making him smile back at her.
"Mind dropping me to the place." she asked turning her face to him.
He nodded moving to their bed. His suspicious gaze lingering over her every move. Moving on the bed, she, pulled the duvet up till her shoulder. Closing her eyes, she sighed. He looked at her for a while, his mind working up on the every possibility to cure her.
One look at her and anyone can tell, she is alright, a happy soul, no one could have any guesses by her behavior, and that she is mentally disturbed.
She looked calm, in peace, like she is almost asleep.
"Won't you sleep?" Her voice startled him, making him widen his eyes. She looked like she was asleep, without any worries of the world.
Masking his startled expressions, he moved closer to bed and lay beside her.
Smoothly, she held his gaze with drowsy eyes and smiled at him. He smiled back taking her hand in his, as he closed his eyes. She heaved a breath and snuggled more into her pillow, finding a comfort place. He closed the lights with the free hand and made himself more comfortable on the mattress.
They drifted to sleep like that, with hands in hands, as their even breaths echoed in the room.

His eyes fluttered open sensing something wrong. The room was covered with darkness. Something churned in his stomach as he saw Zohra's side empty. His mind went hazy for a while, and found it hard to register the situation. Blinking his eyes open he cursed under his breath with wide eyes, as he hastily stood up, and went in search for Zohra. His heart pounding with an intensity he feared he would get a heart attack.
Light was basking the living area as she danced skillfully, smoothly on the surface. She held herself with so much grace, that for a while he forgot, he was not here to see her dancing alone. Her both hands were in air, right slightly curved from the wrist clockwise, as she was holding someone's neck. The other one floating hand, as someone is holding it.
The whole scenario startled Waqas. He was confused, shocked and most of all pained. Pained, because he never thought; her situation can be this bad. In fact, it was worse. She moved in circulation motion, then three steps to her left, three to right, in a zigzag way.
He neared her, taking her hand in his, he pulled her in his arms and was shocked to see her eyes painfully numb and empty. Those eyes betrayed emotions.
"Ohh, Zohra." words flew out of his mouth, as his brow drew together in worri-ness.
"I have been longing for many things." her mouth left some words, which didn't even make sense to him. Ignoring the turning knot in his stomach. He graciously danced with her; step-by-step, coping her moves.
"Tell me, Zohra, what you have been longing for?" He asked wincing at how groggy his voice sounds.
She continued to stare at him directly in his eyes, numb and empty. Her lips moved onto its own accord.
"And how do I describe the feeling when longing is no more longing, when I don't want to come out of this phase, where I feel serenity even in chaos." her words were simple yet painful.
He rolled her over with his one hand, her night dress moved with her, flowing, like it is vowed to. Waqas cursed himself for finding her ethereal in this situation, where he should be worried.
Gathering her in his arms, he led her to upstairs. She walked with him but stopped moving on the stairs.
"Let’s climb the stairs to the dusk." he whispered softly near her ears. His warm breath fanning her swan like neck.
"Where the dawn breaks our dreams" her words concerned him. His eyes screamed concern and worry. But, he held his demeanor strongly and carried her swiftly to the room. Her eyes were shutting close, when he made her lay on her side.
Her chest heaved up and down, as she breathed in the air more calmly.
His heart tightened around his chest, he felt he was soon going to lose his breath.
He joined their heads, sitting beside her. In his entire life from teenage, he never cried. Today she was the reason; he had tears in his eyes. He never felt this helpless. 'What if's?' Questions filled his mind as he thought about every possibility which will be a bridge in the cure of her health.
His lips on his own accord murmuring prayers under his breath and blowing it upon her. If it was Jinn it would have harmed her or him. He was now confused. He dealt with mentally ill patients but not with one who was possessed with Jinn. But the question was, was she really possessed by Jinn?
His tears fall on her eyes making her eyes flutter open. A frightening gasp escaped from her mouth seeing someone so close, but she calmed herself soon, finding out, it was Waqas.
"Waqas." she called, cupping his jaw bringing him closer to her and hugging him like no more tomorrow.
"Tell me who hurt you, and I will un-alive that person, just tell me." she seethed in anger seeing him so vulnerable and helpless. Less she knew she was the cause of all his worries.
"No one hurt me" he whispered hugging her close, tightly. Sniffing her hairs, he calmed down and pulled himself away from her.
"At least tell me what happened?" She asked patting his back, wiping his eyes and cheeks.
"I hurt myself."
"How?" Drawing her brows together in confusion and worry, she asked.
"I was in the washroom and then I came, I stumbled upon the edge of the bed and fell here, my elbow hit the table" pointing at the floor beside her, he lied through his teeth, smoothly.
"Awe, my big baby bear, come here." she awed at him gathering him in her arms, ignoring that she was tiny little human, compared to his huge height and sculpted body.
He let her treat him like a baby and enjoyed it for a while.
"Come here." she patted on the bed beside her where he slept earlier.
Climbing at his place, he laid down making her again hold him like a baby.
"My big baby bear." whispering, she patted his hairs and ruffled it a bit before she was out like a light.
Exhaling heavily, he snuggled more into her, holding her close and slide his arm on her waist.
"Only yours." mumbling he also drifted to his sleep, making a note to discuss it with his personal assistant.
