The moon’s yellow light shone down on Arias, who was sitting on a pure black stone slate while nurturing his magical power. This was a part of his routine, something he had been doing so frequently that it became a part of his life. He was like a black hole that would suck everything in. The magical energy in the air became so faint that it seemed to fade away as Arias absorbed all of it.

Arias opened his eyes a bit and cast a glance at Farcia who had already gone to sleep. Once he was certain that she wouldn’t wake up in the middle of the night, he took out two magical artifacts from his dimensional ring. One was a flower so beautiful like it was carved out of fine jade. The petals were transparent, and they sparkled beautifully as they reflected the moonlight. The pink stamen gave off an enticing scent that reminded one of a field of flowers that stretched as far as the eye could see. Just by smelling it, Arias could sense the tremendous power stored in this flower.
